Matchbox repair of Mercedes Binz Ambulance No. 3. Replacement of parts and replacement of wheels.

The Mercedes ambulance produced by Lesney in 1968 was incomplete. He didn't have a patient on a stretcher. I couldn't get the original to make a copy, so I borrowed a Stretch Fetch patient and made a new stretcher from it and made a resin cast. The box of this model inspired me to change the Mercedes wheels to an exclusive version with chrome rims. These were on the box, while Lesney never produced this model with such hardware.

I Had To Have Another Look At The Stunning Enameling You Sprayed On To It Its Outstanding Cos The Way You Did It Is The same Way They Did It And Theirs Is Perfect And Its Hard To Get It To Take Like You Did So Well In Fact On The Kingsize Model Of This One The Enameling Was put On Even Thicker Again Making That Model Even More Sought After, Being Such A Record Breaking seller I Don't Think I've Ever Seen Any Make Or Model So Pristine As A Result!!! And The Enamel Had A Very Pleasant Sweet Smell And Still Does Today!!! Smells Like Ripe Guavas Fruits!!!
