59:14 you are wondering why serpentine curve "counts itself" in the graveyard but frantic inventory doesn't. Both check while resolving, so they will never see themselves in the graveyard. Curve states "one plus the number", which is why the fractals end up the size they do, it doesn't see itself in the graveyard. One could argue frantic inventory does the same, since you always draw 1, then draw one for each in your graveyard. .

2:34:27 Clock is an issue here for your opponent, you probably easily could have one. Kinda a cheap win, but like you say, it's part of the game. - Cycle ash Barrens on your opponents turn precombat to eat up time, not when they are f6'd on your turn. - You draw relic next turn, activate on opponents pre combat to remove 1 card from gy, which always eats time, even when f6'd, then pop relic after. Combining those would be at least 10 seconds on thier turn.

That's a very neat deck! Would you consider exchanging something for Hard Evidence a good idea? It would still generate a spell in your graveyard, put a 0/3 blocker and a Clue for additional draw.

You could play expedite for the ultimate spice and just haste people out. Worst case scenario is cycle for r and pump future serpentines.

Hey Max, Why not full cantrips into Serpentine+Fling? Seems a better deck. And no Faithless Looting?! Also, the UB seems better because it gives you the same R does (even better IMO) and also enables Mystical Teachings. Also, better draw spells to use in that shell are Think Twice and Deep Analysis since both can be Flashbacked and Serpentine also counts cards in Exile. Relying on one-turn-sitting-down sole creature is not a good plan. I would go for a fast combo kill instead.

ive played with the deck now and its soooo fun, having a hard time to deside what to cut for fling. only have it in the sb atm

I wonder if this is a deck that could use Underworld Rage-Hound? Might be a better win condition than Curve versus heavy removal black decks. Has synergy with Pieces of the Puzzle, you could just put it right into the graveyard.

I don't like teach by example and I would like to cut some ponder and lands for 4x Goblin Electromancer, wich is AWESOME but maybe is another deck concept

Against UB Control, since their relics weren’t doing anything against you and you were worried about time, shouldn’t you auto-yield to the ability to save time?

I said it before: I feel with Teach by Example this is not going far enough. I want to copy Kuldotha Rebirth and Goblin Grenade.
