i like a one of „late to dinner“ some kind of disentomb effect in this deck… it allows you to loop any creature with arden elementalist and ephemerate

At 13:38 you could ephmerate the elementalist to get thraben charm and after the draw, but during the draw step you could destroy the journey to discard their draw.

Dude. Preach. Rude players are the sole reason I refuse to concede in competitive events; it's actually... refreshing... to watch them tilt as I completely shift my playstyle to ensure that we make it all the way to time-in-round. Granted rude players are why I only have the bandwidth for two or three RCQs per season.

I love that you don't put spoilers in your title like a lot of people... makes it so much nicer to watch. Great content great play. Couple things I saw, I think looting is a pet card maybe but i think deadly dispute is a strict upgrade in the deck. there was no time this whole league that the looting would have been better than a dispute and there were zero times it was actually good, even if you get a tiny value putting a strands in the grave its not great. @2:06:44 I think this was a bad attack, one lesson i learned a while ago is "who is the beat-down" we were definitely not the beat-down this match and have end game inevitability, meaning we are on defense and preserving life. it didn't matter this one but block ephemerate was 100% better to save the 3 life rather than get the 2 damage in.

Hey Snap! Love your videos, do you think faithless looting is worth the keep? it always seems so meh when you have it in your opening or if you don't draw prismatic strands.

I've liked the deck before, but now with the Rat lock it feels even cooler, and I'm considering bringing the deck to a local tournament this week. I don't like Inspiring Overseer. 3 mana and only 1 toughness is just a pretty bad rate, especially if you compare it to the rat. I think they could be replaced by another Inspector and a 4th Galv Blast or maybe a 3rd Cast Down instead to deal with Chrysalis. I'm still kind of unsure whether or not Looting is the right discard outlet for Strands. Maybe Blood Fountain instead? The Blood can discard strands and it makes Familiar really cheap. Also being able to recur 2 creatures in the late game might be a better use for excess mana rather than flashing back looting and discarding the lands, but idk about that one. The Overseer definitely has to go Imho.

Love the deck, I've been working on mardu ephemerate for a while now and I've made a lot of changes from your videos. Thoughts on a one of late to dinner? I've found it's either discardable early game and can save late games.

Been testing this list since the moment you posted on Twitter. I was a huge fan of the previous boros version as you know. Lol. This list I like the thraben charms are very crucial I think. I ended up replacing the breath weapons with sulphurous blasts so my matchup against walla is a little better post board and have been doing ok. The bridges open you to a lot of hate but help a lot against the ponza popularity. Great list!

match 1 game 1, did you consider playing the wildfire instead of the creature to ramp you and draw because he had so many hawks to discard so the value on that card was pretty bad?

question for you, why are cards like dog umbra not playable? just creatures like murmuring mystic with other triggers are too common and need a for sure answer to it? that card seems like the best version i have seen of a pacifism type effect. Also thought of an interesting card for the faithless looting slot... Rowan's grim search. if you don't want to sacrifice anything you don't have too, and its instant, and digs pretty deep if you really need something specific... going 6 cards deep for 3 mana is kinda big though, chump with an inspector, grim it away, 6 looks at a removal for the creature beating you down... that seems pretty good, also this is a pseudo combo deck with the rat lock now, so finding the missing piece might win a lot of games.
