With how few creatures this deck has, it seems like in the games, it might be correct to make a 2/2 with Synth some reasonable fraction of the time. The deck never seemed to run out of cards but often seemed to run out of battlefield presence.

at 44:00 there was this awesome line: kill jewel thief using munny (but don't sac the treasure to do it, so you have extra mana), attack with 2 myrs (take init), if they block with the 11/8 you can actually galv blast it (if they don't frog can chump next turn)

When you're behind on the race it's not good to go after their lands, it's only good when you're appling pressure on board. I've lost numerous games with jund ultimatum so I learnt my lesson.

Hey max! What do you think to add some gixian infiltrator in the deck, with so many sac. Effects the card could reach huge size really fast

have you considered the one drop vampire that makes a blood in this deck? maybe over frogmite as a cheap "artifact" that bridges the gap to myr enforcer and also gives some decent pieces to sacrifice?

I didn’t. It sounds ok but not sure it’s really where we want to be. Seems worse than thraben inspector in affinity style decks

Wow, 7 out of 10 matches against Red! Unexpected Fangs makes sense. If I wanted to play a deck that could play maindeck Fangs, what deck(s) would it most readily slot into?

Blue Black Terror (with 4 gurmag 4 tolarian terror) sometimes plays a few maindeck Fangs

I wonder, if we want more creatures if bleak coven vampires could fit, would add a ton of 4 dmg reach + life gain for burn or just gurmag angler could work as well

Yea, maybe! And with that maybe we should ditch myr enforcer and go for more of a ‘mostly rakdos’ shell and play basic lands but retain our sac package

I think there is some tension that mostly comes down to synth. I like the idea though it might be better with a mostly rakdos shell. Synth is kinda mid in that deck potentially. I do have a suggestion for a different deck. Maybe update mardu synth with lembas. Can run foundry helix, and some mid range(maybe even myr enforcer) dudes to also have good things to sac with reckoner's bargain. Should be a nightmare matchup for red decks.

I think there might be some sort of BR Sac with Synth, the new burn spell, galv blast, and the Brothers' War sac matters dudes.

synth seams to exile a lot of interaction spells and forces you to use them inefficiently. don't know if i like it

Fair enough, I think going down to 3 is reasonable. The strongest option is cutting it entirely and playing ‘standard’ Grixis affinity

@@geogreenwood I think our synth hits were on the lower end of the range this league, plus I could have played better, I still think synth is good, really strong card
