Having sand is bad, the weeds will soon grow bolder. You have to set that in concrete.

How did a nice neat pile of base become a total mess all over the driveway? HO should have chosen to have the same width of pavers on both sides of the drive for uniformity. Maybe do the walks as well for cohesive purposes. The kid pouring the sand should have bent over to place more sand in the pavers instead of it blowing all onto the driveway and the dust flying everywhere as well. Pops a full time Arizonian now?

@@OdellCompleteConcrete In this day and age need to be careful how you phrase things. But I get it. Was in Payson a week or two ago. Time goes by fast. Beautiful land up there. If you haven’t been should take a trip that way, good views, camping, nice lakes and streams with fish. Gets more and more crowded each time we go. Weekends are very busy.

Pavers might give after a few years of heavy use from not having a proper edge restraint

Pavers are always more. Cost more in labor and material

I do like to see what they The Odell's and their team do and I do enjoy it, even though I have no business with concrete. Sometimes, I feel like I might do things differently like the pavers I would have liked them in more irregular patter including the edges but again I have not experience at all.
