Some pay 20 percent of what something's worth maybe 25 percent depending what it is , I sold a watch they only gave me $30 for it and they had it for sale for $75 and I originally paid $200 for it

Certain Randalls go for $1200 on the secondary market all the time. You'll pay half that for a new one and be lucky to have it delivered in 5 years because of their incredible backlog.

I don't know what's more impressive, the fact that Rick actually agreed to a guy's asking price (despite him knowing even that is a low-ball) and not pushing even further for lower price, or the fact that this guy was dumb enough to let himself get low-balled so badly when one of those knives in brand-new condition on its own would sell for $2500.

The Lile alone was around $2000. The Randall anywhere from $700 to $2000, so just these two were $2700 to $4000. Unless really hard pressed, you should not pawn them at such low prices... They go fast.
