Discernment is key. As I reflect upon past relationships I realize that so many people were out of place because I was looking for something from that person, but they intended to be in a entirely different category. After analyzing some relationships, however, I still cannot determine whether they were pawns or parasites. It almost seems that they were both. I guess, in the end it's irrelevant because I put that person or thing in a position of partner or project and it sucked much needed life out of me.
