Emo the Emu it would actually not be that much due to the fact that there would be lower demand for it if that were to be found as the only reason it is so expensive is because of its rarity, it’s kind of like if there was a diamond expo planet and we could take all the diamonds on it, the diamonds would no longer be worth anything because they would be everywhere.

@vizuboygaming
@vizuboygaming 6 жыл бұрын

They are players rings, the first one is probably worth another $6000-7000 on top for that reason but otherwise these are the 80s type of setting which is around $20k retail. These are not as gaudy as rings made in the new millennium. Which would have many more karats of diamond per ring.

@Bauks
@Bauks 6 жыл бұрын
The gold and diamond in those rings is not worth 36k. The difference in price is labor cost to produce them. So you got about 20k worth the metal and rock, and the jeweler makes his wage to get the production value of 35k-ish Second hand buyers aren't going to pay the jewelers wage. If tomorrow no one wanted to buy another super bowl ring ever again they would just melt them down and take the stones out for resale, so that's what their paying for here gold and stone. I'm usually pretty quick to tell people they're dumb about a pawn shop being a rip off.... if you don't want to sell your stuff you don't have to, but this offer did seem unreasonably low, even to me.
@Bauks
@Bauks 6 жыл бұрын
Diamonds don't follow the same upward trend as gold does normally. Diamonds are not rare like gold is, it's a monopolized industry, and their prices are arbitrarily set usually by De beers. Gold is rare because there's not much of it, diamonds are rare because De Beers only gives out a handful of them from it's very, very large bin, every year to very select jewelers.
