theory: Dallas took the bloody pack so that they would not take blood from Wolf's DNA. if you remember Heist with the release of Hoxton from the second part, there DNA played an important role in the evidence

@@tactic28rus also keep in mind that there seems to be more blood on the floor around the cash where its on the ground so idk if taking the cash to preserve dna would help as much as it would to pad their wallets. I would be surprised if the captain winters returns or the elephant returns for revenge on the doj for being unable to win his second term or something. I mean is it canon if the payday gang is found out for rigging his election or not??

I think Dallas took the wad of money because it had Wolf's blood (his DNA) on it, which would be an identifying piece of evidence that the police could use to identify Wolf and possibly shut down the PAYDAY gang and CrimeNet

I know it's PAYDAY But... What kind of police enter a hostage situation like that and they sent like 5 dudes? to deal with a group of armed robbers. All the street should be blocked and the police helicopter would be on their asses before they even reach the van. I feel like they did better live action robbery scene during PAYDAY 2.

tbh while yes it could be blood i think the red on the cash is one of those ink sacks they were taking out as they put alot of focus onto it and thats probably why the woman didnt want to give them the cash in the register she felt theyd come for her if they found out there was a setup set of bills and i wouldnt put it past GenSec to do that

i think its only good as shorts, would lose quality and just be another low budget film that no one really watches. the writing would have to be nice with a story thats not been done but then its not really payday... and then youd have to get at least one well known actor to have any kind of legs.... then you are in the hole with a movie more than youve spent on your last game. welcome to AIs open window.

Heist movies have been done a thousand times over by this point. If you want to watch a Payday style movie, watch Heat or The Town or one of the many other good robbery heist movies.

@@oztheoutlaw9953 I feel like that's quite wrong simply because the story in the games are pretty solid. You'd basically just tie in the story bits and draw them out some while focusing a ton on high octane action. Some of the "heists" in the games are just full on shootouts. John Wick proved that you an make a mostly action movie with a decent little story if it's shot well enough. Plus a show usually means less of a budget especially if you got a big streaming company to help front the bill.

They make trailers well, it's interesting to watch. Maybe they'd rather try yourself in movies than in making games? I still can't forget that DLC with Ethan and Hila. It was so bad that it completely broke my perception of the game. I would like to see payday 3 in a more serious setting. I don't like being bombarded with endless crowds of monotonous dummies. The second part of the game is too casual. It tries to fool around and loses it's great robber charm. And when more than 4 people appeared in the team, it became completely absurd. I think a complete reboot of the series is needed. No need to add a thousand perks and a thousand new characters to the DLC. There is a proverb: brevity is the sister of talent. We need a complete reboot. All this nonsense must be completely forgotten. Let this all turn out to be Dallas' bad dream, and we'll get a proper heist game.

@@SuperToasterRus A reboot isnt needed because a lot of this is payday 3. I think 6 characters max on launch, they want to move away from endless collabs in favor of collabs that fit the game world. Cops are smarter and more accurate, increasing in number damage and accuracy but not health on the highest difficulty. I think payday 2 will stay as a goofy arcade game where as payday 3 will be kept in a more serious tone.

He doesn’t talk because the original VA left for… reasons. Ulf said it was because it damaged his throat to yell so much, but that seems incredibly unlikely. Regardless, he left and they didn’t really have anyone to replace him until Payday 3. It’d be weird having two different VA’s for the same dude in the same game.

It reminds me a lot of the Pyro from TF2. Maybe that's what they're going to go for to skirt around what happened to the original actor(bad blood with Alimr half way through Payday 2). It's interesting seeing the difference between PD2 and PD3. PD2, they were confident after their success from PD1, so they executed their bank hesit with excellent planning, undercover work, talking to the hostages, giving them a speech about the Banks and "The System" But in PD3, They're scorned. Scrapping every dollar they can, they almost seem "Angry" and a bit "Desperate" for every dollar they can hence why they'd risk their neck for just a single Wad of cash. This heist, while fast and done well, was just *different* to the usually more level headedness. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but knowing Starbreeze, there's reasons.

Fun fact: Bank tellers in the US are instructed to hand over everything, unless they robber specifies no dye packs. Even opening vaults/safety deposit boxes because everything is insured and they'd rather do that then have possible deaths. They're not supposed to hit the silent alarm until the robbers leave to prevent a hostage situation. However, 90% of bank robberies in the US only net about 10k on average. They're in and out jobs.

I first played Payday 2 with some friends (Military background btw) who were veterans at the game and I was new, My first ever police assault happened. I will give you my all is blasting, and adrenaline rushed. I instinctively grabbed the old lady civilian as a shield and said "MOVE LIKE YOU GOT A HIP REPLACEMENT!" The vets were so proud. ❤
