I should be famous. I paid for a 150 dollar Walmart bill in half dollars

fun fact: half dollars from 1964 were made of 90% silver, 1965-1970 had 40% silver content. many half dollars are worth more than face value.

I am looking for a self checkout that you can just dump $20.00 or $40.00 worth of coins in at once.

One thing Japan is ahead with money convenience is the abundancy of 100 and 500 yen coins and 1000 yen is the smallest paper note. So many vending machines and restaurant ticket ordering machines and with the cash dependency, most machines don't accept credit cards and so do many small businesses. Many might accept prepaid IC transit cards.
