“Dexterous manipulation of a ball, precise manipulation of a shaft” Exactly what I’m looking for in a robot hand

멋지네요. 꼭 제품화되어서 노력하신만큼 돈도 많이 버시고, 잘 발전해서 좋은 곳에 쓰였으면 좋겠네요.

Wow I'm impressed. Verry close to a real finger, but just stronger and little bit more flexible, did you use step motors? How big an bulky Is is the part wich we can't see in the short clip? Is it difficult to multiply this to a human hand? Great job !!!

Sounds like servos. There are some servomotor that have a lot of torque because of the included reduction. I think you will need almost 15 servos approx to controle a full 5 finger hand. Idk it's awesome

@@JonaCorrea I believe it's steppers with gearbox reductions. The steppers are a lot more precise than servos and the gearbox is what makes the noise in a servo.

@@LtdJorge As much as I would like to agree with you; I don't agree. Servo Motors are a lot more precise more than steppers because of there onboard computer which constantly monitors every step of there rotation. This is a feature a stepper motor simply doesn't have. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/sKyVZa2otZiyfKs.html

Although it raises a question for me for why 3D printers mostly use steppers over Servos? Maybe its because it harder to control or is it because they're more $$$
@LtdJorge4 жыл бұрын
@@brian8687 Exactly, servos can be more precise and accurate, but at the same price, steppers are more precise and faster/higher torque. Steppers are very cheap because they just use more coils, while servos need a controller and a feedback loop, they are potentially better, but cheap ones tend to be very bad :D
