Thank you so much for this video. I've been working on my Normal 1cc and the subtitles were veeery helpful to figure out how to do some parts. I was also glad to know that I figured out a good chunk of the optimal strategies on my own and you did the same things in your video.

Fair play that was one hell of a 1cc extreme mode is extreme and you were doing a speed tech i didnt know you could.

Pretty good run indeed. Worth mentioning that the position of the random enemy spawns (Most notable in Stages 1 and 6) is always the same from each different run, it actually changes after closing and open the game again.

Stage 8 is probably the most interesting stage design ive seen in a shmup so far, I mean those lasers are something else. I can only groove soo much man!

I can safely say that this game, in Extreme Mode, is the most frightening Qute-em-up to even come out... so far. Not only it makes you think about speedkilling to avoid massive walls of bullet, but at the same time dodge IN TIME, because of the increasingly faster bullet speed by the enemy, to the point of "wait, are we playing a Qute game or Raiden here???" Definitely not for the faint of heart. Some silly hits aside, Jaimers pretty much aced the entire game, which didnt have any type of slowdown mind you, on maximum speed nearly all the time. ...also, ngl, Stage 8 is basically just a Rhythm stage. Dodge the beat, baby~

not-so-hot take: this game is basically impossible to do well in without being at max or near-max speed at least some of the time. There are some bullshit-tier reflex checks in this game whose only routes are to be planned around (which is usually VERY possible) or whose only recourse is to just move away as fast as they happen (see: Stage 10). I'm one of those scrubs who uses an analog stick and I couldn't possibly think about doing as well as Jaimers seems to half of the time.

Really love the look of this game. Gotta finish up Ginga Force so I can start playing this. Excellent play as one would expect!

I really like the leading lines on the bullets, but I have to admit I still have trouble tracking what's going on in this at times. e: actually, I think it was mostly just the first stage. Something about the background makes it difficult for me to track enemy shots.

So,I get some secret techniques from you to face the hard levels : 1. For slow speed,better to use hold option than the toggle option 2. Getting power up gives invicible shield for 1 second Yeah,I'm still 'noob',only able to finish the Normal difficulty in 1 cc.I can only be good in single speed : 6.

I assume overlapping on bosses & bombing like hell for that extra speedkill bonus is not worth the 150k lost in the process?

Speedkilling is borderline necessary for the TLB at the end of Stage 9 and arguably for the Stage 5 boss, so there exists at least one case where it's worthwhile to speedkill even at the expense of taking damage. Some gus-tier superplayer is probably going to find a way to reliably dodge it, but I don't see it being very realistic for now.
