The location of the PCV Valve on a 2007 Dodge Dakota SLT, V6 3.7L engine. Changed out the vacuum hose as well. Parts bought on RockAuto. It took around 45 minutes to complete the work.

Thanks for the vid ,1st showing the actual PVC part

‘05 Dakota drivers--the PCV valve is located below the oil fill on the left. It’s difficult to access. Remove the entire air intake housing to get a little more room. Even though these models are in the same generation, the PCV is in a different place.

Carlos Munoz You have the 3.7 liter v6? I think the v8 has it on the oil filler. I ordered the hose online. Can't remember from where

I have the same truck..my ac isn't blowing cold I charged the system and the compressor engages..any idea of what it could be?

I really have no idea. Maybe a temp sensor? Unfortunately, I'm not an expert.

I have the same truck with code P0456, very small evap leak. I cannot for the life of me find the evap cannister or leak detection pump. I looked underneath the vehicle (and all over) and the only thing I found was something that is on top of the gas tank, and inaccessible without removing the gas tank. Could the evap cannister and leak pump be somewhere else? If so, where? I'm thinking one of the hoses going to these parts may be the cause of the leak. All other hoses are in mint condition. Thank you!

What are the symptoms of the PCV valve going bad? I have the same engine and PCV in my Jeep GC.
@larryfalck9136 жыл бұрын
Sean Nugent I honestly can't remember. I think the truck was throwing the code for the PCV valve, that's how I knew to replace it. I guess in future videos I should say what the symptoms were that caused me to replace that part!
@TaijiArban5 жыл бұрын
I just replace it when I change the spark plugs every 30k miles. It doesn't cost much to begin with and it can lead to major problems if it goes bad.

that look like IAC valve not PCV valve to me.
@jessliz72 жыл бұрын
That is not a PCV valve the PCV valve is located near the oil spout and it's l shape for that particular make and model
@larryfalck9132 жыл бұрын
It is the PCV on the 07 model. It's different on earlier models.

07 3.7L V6 have them there, the 07 4.7L V8 is the oil spout. Dumb design in my opinion.
