did a soft release where *it* was found. would walk there with it several times to put food for the birds there & also walk to other location i put seeds Wish i never stopped seeding however it became so tough to do esp when the shopping carts i'd find & chain up to use [would buy thickest chain & lock -- brd seed & water gets heavy af & eventually bust anythin other than a shopping cart - for the relatively small tho substantial amount i'd feed] I think the damn city would cut those locks off & the cart would disappear! :[ so many & a Regular lock cutter wouldn't b able to do that so had no choice but to believe city personel would remove the cart(s) from where i locked em up. eventually had to move out of the area & then gave up all together😭

now i wrote off nyc tho if i'm forced to go there will bring brd seeds & water + cups for the starving brds I feel for . . . . . . . . Poor Brdies😭

She was fed via her parents, I started giving her pea time as a treat and bonding exercise between parent feedings. She's over a year old now and super happy + healthy!

She moves a lot, so the holding was mainly to keep her mouth still for eating. She still ADORES peas and will fight you for them. 😆
