Korra grew up isolated from the world (you'll find out why later) with no kids in her age around and everyone telling her she's special - the avatar. That explains her lack of social skills and why she's so bad with relationships. But all that is part of her character arc: season 4 Korra is different from season 1 Korra, just like season 3 Aang is different from season 1 Aang (a kid who ran away from his responsibilities).

Mako literally was against her here. He absolutely did something wrong.

Korra is immature. However she makes decisions that are correct and reasonable. What is Mako worried about? Just keep quiet when Raiko asks about Korra, and tell Bolin to zip it! Feels like they're building up to a fantasy creature episode which is a break from the human drama and comic interludes. Great reacts, thank you.

I really don't like how they act as though Mako was in the right here. He screwed over Korra and her tribe just to impress his boss. What a narc.

Well, not to spoil anything, but thankfully, this is the end of this portion of Korra and Mako's relationship, and it WILL get better from here on out. Their relationship really brings this season down for me, but the second half of Book 2 is amazing
