in the comics, he's actually the genius scientist, not his dad because his dad killed himself in front of Peacemaker when he was 5 as he was going to jail for war crimes as a Nazi officer. guess they needed a way to limit his gadgets and make Cena more loveable for camera by being an idiot

It's a good thing they made a new version with no ties to the comics, obvious aside. A TV canon. The last thing you want is the likeable bastard villain played by John Cena to be associated with the misery in the comics. Father's a ex nazi and he thinks his helmets haunted. No thanks. Sometimes comics should be ignored if you can make a whole new and better thing.

I think that he's a little nerfed in the beginning because he is insecure about killing people again and with his principles like in then scene when vigilante murders golf's family and his first fight with judomaster. Later against the butterflies in the factory and the ranch he is a beast

I watched Suicide Squad yesterday and i can say that he wasn't powerful at all. There were only 2 scenes where he did anything at all and 1 of theme was him shooting up some rebels that weren't even resisting and in second he barely handled Rick Flag, i mean if that piece of ceramics wasn't there he would be like dead-dead and without comebacks. What's powerful about that? Harley Queen was more powerful then him in that movie

the action scenes in this show are really good. if you compare to mcu series, it is so so different, don't need much cuts and camera shakes to give adrenaline to the shot. Great job!

This show is incredible I miss it. I rlly wish season 2 was earlier. I’m beyond excited for Superman but honestly I never thought I’d say this but I’m just so hooked on peacemaker. It’s kinda sick to see an immature character you initially hate have all his lairs pealed back and discover in the most mature way why he’s so immature, deluded and who he is underneath.

I really wonder what James Gunn’s plans are for the new DCU. I’m sure he doesn’t care that much for Peacemaker and Suicide Squad now that he has full access to the main characters of DC but I still don’t fully see him actually discontinuing Peacemaker after it doing pretty well. I hope he’s just doing a soft reboot like suicide squad and will have Henry Cavill return when Superman is needed

@@SB-hw7hp no I mean in the sense that peacemaker isn’t even super powered nor does he have a nearly unbreakable shield yet he’s still killing people no problem. How does cap NOT kill people? As in on accident or otherwise. Peacemaker makes it look pretty easy, and cap has superpowers and a nearly unbreakable shield. I just feel like if captain America was a bit more like punisher this is how it would look lol.
