@Screaming Eagles What he did was definitely not the morally correct thing to do, but people give him too much hate for it. If he had cost Universal the Chinese market they would have done everything they could to derail his career. If I were in his position, I'd probably do the same to avoid being blacklisted as an actor and exiled from China.

Well. He started out writing for Troma and did a few low budget films, including Super... Ok he also wrote both Scooby Doo live action films.. So managing superheroes/villains on a TV budget and schedule.. I had very little doubt about that. As long as WB stay away and don't micromanage, he'll do fine. :)

I remember when the X-men movie first came out and Smallville, seeing an interview with the producers of the X-men saying Superhero costumes don't work in live action and the producers of Smallville also saying the same thing, saying they can't tell a serious Superhero story, if they have the comic book costumes! In the comics as Peacemaker killed people his helmet would absorb their “ghosts” or something; the more people he killed in a battle the better he became because he was learning the tactics and knowledge of those he killed in battle. (Or at least Peacemaker BELIEVED that’s what his helmet was doing. It would be hilarious to see this play out on screen)

Probably because you, and most people, myself included, didn't know who Peacemaker was until James Gunn and John Cena brought the character back to relevancy. He had barely 80 issues in the 40yrs since his creation, until he was brought back to current comics very recently, which was basically cross-promotion for the movies.

This is an unbelievable series. Peacemaker and Vigilante are an amazing match and Character persona they have created are perfect. This is the best superhero series I have ever seen, better then any superhero movie out there. The intro is EPIC ! Great job. Unfortunately the Networks will cancel this series since nothing this good or of such high creative genius is allowed to be on air. It’s the truth.

I love how DC is breaking the formulaic methods for superhero shows and is going into exploring unexpected but interesting characters. James Gunn is trusted. I think this might end up being up there with Daredevil, The Boys, Doom Patrol.

Also Smallville which is a legendary show , is definitely not better than shows like Doom patrol, watchmen, peacemaker. The only real competition to peacemaker now is doom patrol.

It doesn't look like they will, but I hope they explore a bit of the guilt Peacemaker might have for killing Rick Flag (a good guy), which he clearly displayed on his face when Flag's last words to him were "Peacemaker, what a joke". Seems they might tackle a bit of that self doubt at least.

I mean anti heroes are characters like peacemaker, those who got that job done in immoral or questionable matters for the greater good, BloodSport had killed just as many innocents as Peacemaker in the film and probably before that as well. Anti heroes aren’t just heroes that use swear words and act mean towards nice people

I thought about that too but they've all killed people. Even though the camp bit was an accident they're still who they are. He's only shown to be the bad guy because we're on Rick's side as he was trying to do the right thing. Peacemaker also thought he was doing the right thing. What I'm wondering is if they'll show a remorseful side in this series.

Theory: The green guy (who I probably think is judomaster) is now targetting peacemaker and vigilante and the rest of the team probably cause of TDK, since he found out he was killed by cold blood in TSS..Abandoning his judo training and going on a rampage, he's ALSO wearing a similar costume, probably cause they were brothers or just best friends or..He probably just misses him so much he dyed his white suit (The comic one) into green and is now after them for revenge.
