Peacemaker is a great show, largely because James Gunn had carte blanche with the characters and story. DC should do that more often

Superhero shows and movies in general need to do that more often. All superheroes are unique and their live action products rarely feel like that

Works great as long as you have someone like James Gunn in charge. Honestly, if he's willing to do it the people running the DCEU should throw a shit load of money at him and make him be their Feige and/or Favreau.

The series was awesome. It's just the right amount of campy to balance the serious violence. Tight dialogue mostly and pretty good character growth.

I was so fucking glad they had a proper finale. Legit cried when the title song started playing. Far too many shows and movies go with the CGI filled, weightless polygon finale.

@@faze_buendia9514 so what did you think? I finished the series last night and loved it. I actually stopped watching the first episode awhile back after not getting it after the first 30 mins or so. Largely because I havent seen of the DCU content and thought I'd be lost. The show was also quite strange at first with no context. Then once I saw MOR made a video I went back and watched Suicide Squad 2021, then the entire series. Without MOR making a recap video I would have forgotten about the show and never gave it a second chance. Super glad I did. I did wait until finishing the series to actually watch this recap though. Also very much enjoid suicide squad 2021.

If you ever get into it just know that Ep 1,2 and 3 are meh. Episode 4 onwards it gets better although one fight scene in Ep 4 made me puke cause of the cameracuts and the banter but overall it's good imo.
