Arthur, John, and Alfie are so underappreciated. Arthur and John totally rock. Alahambra Gold adds a lot of spice as well. Lizzy proves women are able to multitask. Her and Polly at a time when women were just starting to be accepted in the workforce. Ada provides politics and intelligence..Great since women had just got the right to vote.

Watching this behind the scenes stuff is so cool. I was kind of was late to the party (like on this video) when it came to peaky Blinders and like probably a lot of people binged it to death on Netflix. Its such a cool show and as i am a brit although but not a brummy i can defiantly say that everyone from Birmingham is especially proud of this masterpiece and i would urge people to watch the REAL peaky blinders series that talks about the history Mr knights masterpiece is based this on. A special word though for Helen Mccroy who was absolutely at the heart of the show. Rip and i think that the way she was honoured in season 6 was something she would have been proud of. Lets wait in amazement for the end the 6th series and the upcoming movie x

My only problem with peaky Blinders is that every time a cast member 'disappears' it's like losing a member of the family - all of them! Dang! Peaky Blinders is the most superbly acted (and cast), and exquisitely scripted TV show of the era. Everything.. - The storylines, plot, dialogues, cinematography, sets, costumes, direction.. EVERYTHING is done with such love and meticulous craft! Thank you Steven Knight, Helen, Cillian, Tom Paul and much love and thanks to EVERYONE involved for making the benchmark, the landmark Television series of the era - Salute!! P.S. For those who don't know, and contrary to what 'Google'; answers tell you, Peaky Blinders is based on some historical facts, and has some basis in truth, but essentially this wonderful tale is woven from the brilliant mind of Steven Knight and the tales told to him by his mother and father.. I can barely wait for the sixth series.. and at the same time.. never want it to end! Of Interest - Peaky Blinders is very popular in China! I'm adding it as core material for my students next term! 'Peaky Blinders - Doesn't get any better than this.. 'Acting at its very best..' - Exquisite!!!! Choice and use of music too.. I'm not actually a fan of some of the genres of music used.. but they do 'supercharge' the (every) series.. - There's a whole heap of thoughtfulness and mindfulness gone into this.. - a lot of love and a whole bunch of very gifted people - in front of and behind the cameras.. Peaky Blinders - Doesn't get any better than this.' - An aside.. The Brummie / Black Country accent has, for as long as I remember, been the 'butt-end' of jokes.. very much looked down on, certainly in Britain.. it was never 'cool'.. ever. Now.. Thanks to the incredible Steven Knight and the sublime cast and crew of Peaky Blinders - the Brum / Black Country twang is very cool indeed! - I was in Thailand, middle of nowhere, not-so-long-ago, Koh Yao Noi, a beautiful small mostly Muslim island sandwiched between Phuket and Krabi, and was chatting, in between playing songs, and a couple listening asked me if I'd do a 'Peaky Blinders' for them.. Seriously.. this is a first! - the guy was from Switzerland and the girl from Singapore.. very cool couple, who loved the series.. - as do we all.. and it was very cool to be asked to render some Black Country vernacular!

The show stands for itself, but I just want to add into the comment section that praises this show. Its amongst the most powerful series I've ever watched. Im from Brooklyn, NY- with Irish, Sicilian, and French heritage. I've watched many series; the sopranos, boardwalk empire to name a few, and now this masterpiece. I've never binged a production as much as this, its a special- powerful show. Seeing how different families interact in this show- Italian, Irish, British ect is beauitful. Between the actors, directors, and writers, its a masterpiece. You can tell the cast is not only capable on their own,, but that they bring out a special, worldly performance out of eachother. Probably the best "show" I've ever experienced. Sad that its ending, but happy I caught up with the series before it ended. Can't wait for the final movie in 2023/2024
