Some time ago I suggested Canadian-style apple butter. But it is also possible to make a delicious and quick pear butter! The advantage of this is that it can be used in savory or sweet dishes. I really like it on a slice of toast with a little gorgonzola for example...but I also like to put it in my pastry cream to surprise. Ginger brings an important fresh note. Good tasting !

Ingredients :
4 pears
1 tablespoon of maple syrup
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1 piece of ginger
100g butter
1 - I like the combination of pear and ginger but you can replace the ginger with cardamom.
2 - Maple syrup is not obligatory, it's just a little touch that I like to add.
