This movie really gives the viewer a new perspective and appreciation for X. Lots of people kind of saw Pearl as a perverted sexual old woman, but the prequel fleshes things out about who she really was and makes you question what the marriage was like in between both movies. I'm curious to see what direction they go in with Maxxxine. I'm going to guess she heads off to Hollywood, "makes it," shit goes sideways and gets ostracized then goes scorched earth on those who wronged her. It should be interesting. Mia Goth has been outstanding.

After X and this, I'm expecting this to be a perfect horror trilogy once MaXXXine drops. Mia Goth definitely deserves some award love for her performance but will get snubbed sadly🙃 Great video Alex, was a welcome surprise to finish work and see this on my feed

I think what really helps Pearl be a great prequel is that we knew almost nothing about her in X other than where she lives and who she's married to Also, I like the stark contrast from Pearl and Maxine, with Pearl not wanting to do porn to be a star while Maxine (who's the newer generation in these films) doing porn because it was the new trend This movie seriously made me like X a bit more than I did when I first watched it
