The thing that is missed by those stats is that Fathers who WIN custody are an outlier because the courts are so biased towards women it filters out most of the men who would not make a good parent or single father. - EVERY woman gets custody whether shes a good mother or a terrible one - ONLY above average men get custody If 90% of men where defaulted custody we would see the rates of child abuse, child abandonment and death of children go up when looking at men being at fault. now even with that said I still think the Best man would make a better parent than the Best woman, and thats because mens natural proclivity towards provisioning there ability to protect far exceeds that of women and children both boys and girls listen and adhere to men better than they do women.

However, you can still grow up in a two parent home and get bad results, the child can be overlooked/ignored etc. You can't deny that biologically females are more nurturing. The woman claimed Emmet Till *whistled at her*, which is something even white men would be chastised for in that time period. It resulted in Emmett being beaten and drowned while attached to cement blocks. Now tell me you believe that's what would have happened if it was a black woman.

How do you measure "nurturing" though? She's based the concept of nurturing on abuse rate. It's one unit of measure that isn't necessarily all-encompassing. I think men and women nurture children in different ways. In a single parent home a man may prepare a child better for the outside world, but lack other types of nurturing. A woman may provide other advantageous like healthy amounts of attention and early-age care, but less real world preparation for example. It's why 2 parent homes are best. The argument on nurturing I think was an oversimplification, but on the whole she's pretty based.

She also made that false equivalence due to women being the primary caregivers of children and elderly so of course a subset of them would be abusive. I’m pretty sure you can find many examples of fathers in 2 parent homes abusing their kids and their wives
