Concert from July 19th, 2013. Thanks to all KZfaq contributors who took video from this great night. I have collected the best clips I could to put together this video, which I hope captures the night well.

Actually, if you think about it, this video was released in July 2013, and Outbreak Day was in September 2013. So Joel could have easily watched it and learnt it before all of what happened happened.

TLOU2 hits pretty hard and days later, I'm still processing it. It's not the sequel I wanted, but i still love it for what it is. Love you naughty dog. Thank you for this game. R.I.P. Joel Miller.

Exactly my thoughts. Not what I wanted, but an incredible piece of art nonethless.

@@TommyLea125 in short, take off your nostalgia glasses and look at the game objectively. Stop letting your emotions cloud your judgment. No one is happy Joel died, but he kinda had what was coming to him. Just because you didn't like the story, doesn't make it bad. It has some flaws, but it's still a great game. In all honesty I feel bad for you. I hope you at least played it before judging it yourself.

Joel Miller, I had spent 7 years thinking I would get to enjoy your company for a little bit longer. Watching this now hurts... hurts a lot. RIP to one of my favorite characters in the entire world. Sarah was probably the one who showed this to Joel. And it resonated with him because it was about his future days with her. But then he lost her, he lost himself, and twenty years later in Jackson, everything he found there he didn't find by himself.

From opening with "Release" to finishing with "Rockin' in the Free World" it was by far the greatest show I've ever seen. Waiting in the concourse in 95 degree weather waiting for the storm to pass, dehyrated from having a few beers, was totally worth it! It was sad the setlist was cut short and, overall, that it had to end. Pearl Jam has gotten me through some difficult times, as many here can relate. They aren't the same band they were from "Ten" but they've stayed relevant by reinventing their style and putting out great music. "Sirens" is arguably one of their best songs ever. For me, "Release" tops them all. Spread the Jam, tell a friend!
@cosmodrum110 жыл бұрын
It's hard for me to argue with you. Release is such a powerful song and means a lot to me, personally. It was cool to see all of us crammed into the concourse, wet, sweaty, and nice to each other. Fans at some other shows might have gotten into fights, etc but the PJ fans were extremely cool. What an experience.

One of the best concerts I've ever been to. Met so many great folks in line all day from 7 am until we were finally let in. Even the bad weather didn't dampen my spirit. Started on the rail in front of Mike ended up 2nd row by Mike and finally back on rail for last few songs. I will never forget this day, night, and next day.

JEALOUS!!!! I wish they would come back here. They did back-to-back sold out shows here in St. John's back in '05 and it was AMAZING! Mostly cuz it's a smaller venue of approx 7000 people. So there's not a bad seat in house. I think the rain delay made the Wrigley show that much more special tho! Would love it if they released a video for that concert! I'm sure the OKC show in November will be equally amazing! We don't get to see near as many cool acts here which really sucks!

Later I came back to get in line for the actual concert, and walked right in, straight to a table selling posters, then made it over to the GA pit and had a decent spot. Then the storm came, and had to wait a few hours... I did get to meet Dennis Rodman in the audience though =)
