Fishing village of Camara de Lobos. Various shots of the village and of fishermen and children on the beach. Men watch as a large fish is brought into the beach. A large "espada" is gutted on the beach. Various shots of traditional fishermen at work.
Women wash clothes in the sea then dry them on stones: "a primitive laundrette" states the narrator.
Scenic shots of the landscape. A Volkswagen Combi van drives along picturesque roads. A couple enjoy the view.
