Peashooter looks great for standard and bullet in my opinion., All 4 exhausts sounds like dolphin at high revs without db killer., If you want Indori exhaust like thump, please by Triple core indori from Quality chennai -02 brand or else Swagman.., If you are fixed in buying RE genuine exhaust then go for Peashooter Full chrome and remove db killer., it has thump similar to motowings or redrooster.,, Please check my other videos ok this exhaust with headset, you will understand the sound..

It doesn’t has any baffles, You can see thru the exhaust, but it has Ceramic wool and steel wool packing like Redrooster.., So it essentially becomes free flow.. But provides required backpressure.. I have seen my friends installing it on BS6 engines without db killers, They are perfectly fine and working without any issues.. Removing Db killer just makes it sound like red rooster (exactly same) Doesn’t affect engine in any way, except if your air filter is dirty, it will backfire on deceleration..

All are same in loudness aspect, If you have chrome engine go for full chrome peashooter.. if you got matte black engine and bend pipe you can try slashcut or tapered in full black, it will look, kind of like Harley davidson.. and all four end caps sounds similar to red rooster, with peashooter end cap adding a little bit indori feel to it.. (Similar to what rubber end cap does ) while other three sounds completely free flow.. For Redrooster like sound you have to remove the db killer, with db killer it sounds like Reborn classic stock exhaust..

You cannot do this.. it contains Ceramicwool packing and by cutting and welding it will get spoiled and it wont sound good.. chroming will be lost.... Instead you can cut the bend pipe and install this exhaust upto axle.. If you are using Classic 350 it will be nearer to axle.. Or else go for slash cut exhaust.. it ends near to axle..

No, it wont have Bass.. Dont spoil the exhaust.. Instead buy After market exhaust.. BS6 has filters in Bend pipe too, hence will sound less even after modification.. Better get yourself Indori for old thump, Pea shooter for Bass.. or BS3 stock exhaust for decent thump.. Please dont tamper BS6 stock exhaust,. It wont be good to hear..

With DB killer this exhaust sounds closer to stock BS4, If DB killer is removed, It will sound as loud as Redrooster exhaust. If you are after Loud exhausts, Peashooter will be the best ( DB killer removed).. If youre after that mild thump of 2010-2015 UCE engines, then Used BS3 stock exhaust is the best bet.. @@RowdyCA i bought Straight cut and 10-20% increase in sound than stock bs4 only when you give throttle. On neutral there is no difference. Plus vibrations are less now and pickup is increased. Because this new straight cut silencer doesn't have any filter. It has only DB killer in the end.

Apply RTV glue.. and tighten it 3/4th tightness.. Wipe off excess glue.. leave it overnight.. tighten it completely in morning.. There will be zero leakage.., The same method is applicable for silencer clamp and end cap leakage.. The name of the RTV glue is “Anabond 666 T Max” Costs around Rs.50.. Hope that helps.. My allenkey shows 3mm for the end cap 4 nuts and 5mm for the db killer nut.. Its better and cheaper to get an allen key set, as you will need 6mm for bar end weights too..

Its theoretically possible by drilling hole for lock nut and sealing off leakage with RTV glue.. But clearly not a direct fit,. And will sound pathetic.. And you cannot purchase only the DB killer.. I will try fitting the DB killer into Stock exhaust for you 😅..

My friend tried it, but its not that great to hear... It sounds like damaged stock exhaust, terrible sound.. Better to throw DB killer away or else, live with DB killer.. You cannot go back once the design is screwed 😌

A freeflow exhaust is basically See thru from both ends, with perforated holes and Insulation packing (Glass wool or ceramic wool) ... While stock exhaust is not free flow as it has internal baffles... So this exhaust is free flow exhaust, but not hollow as in Punjabi... It has ceramic wool packing as he said...

Yes., Its similar to Redrooster in thump and loudness… After riding few 100 kms the sound increases and you cannot tell differencen between Redrooster and this exhaust on higher revs.. Yes., Thats why they welded the removable nut.. RTO doesnt allow Louder exhausts.. Still this one is not as loud as others, and wont damage the engine.. and if you ride slowly , police wont even notice it as it sounds slightly louder than stock on normal usage

Hello Bro!! Mine is BS4, It can be installed in BS3 Directly, and requires Exhaust gasket to fit in BS4.. To install it in Bs3 Standard, All you need is this exhaust, and Anabond Silicone RTV 666 T Max (Rs.50 per tube) Apply the anabond paste thickly to the midpipe and exhaust joint, Slide the exhaust and fix the bracket to foot peg firmly., And tighten the exhaust clamp to half tightness.., Let it dry over night, it will form rubber like seal, Now tighten it completely, It will provide air tight seal between the exhaust midpipe and exhaust., Apart from this You can use additional generic clamp to fit the exhaust firmly., (standard exhaust clamp is fitted to frame and Classic exhaust clamp is fitted to both the foot peg and the frame..,) So u can purchase any clamp for other third party exhaust and use it to fit this exhaust to the frame., to provide additional firmness., Hope this answer helps., If you have any queries you can always text me on Instagram at Rowdy_CA If you have not subscribed to my channel yet, A sub would be fantastic❤️

The exhaust is designed and tuned by RE to be a free flow exhaust.. DB killer is there only for Gov rules sake. Hence, Engine wont be affected,. It runs a little louder than stock in usual riding range.. It sounds crazy only on wide open throttles... (Really Loud) And About Milage strangely it got increased a bit while riding sedately.. Engine pickup is increased in 40 - 80 kph range, while it gets decreased a bit from stand still to 20 kph.. and then it pulls like a monster. With DB killer, Engine runs smoother, Crappy air leaking sound, more or less like splendor, Increased low end torque., pulls from stand still nicely.. Without DB killer, Just imagine Redrooster.. Raw Thumping ride.. DB killer can be removed and attached in 5 minutes,. So you can pick as per your likings bro.. Please comment for more information.. 😇

Hi Bro, One more doubt. Is there any backfire issue or any pathaka issue without using the DB killer? Is there any legal issues by using peashooter exhaust without using DB killer? It's comes under traffic violation?

No there is no backfire on downshifts, Even when revved hard, But it will do Phataka if done intentionally, as even stock exhaust is capable of doing pataka.. If you ride within 40kph when cops are around it wont cause any problem,. You can always say it came with the bike and show the underside of exhaust, which clearly mentions "original Royal enfield exhaust, BS3 BS4 compliant." Ofcourse, before the cop starts to rev the bike.. Once its revved to high rpms, it wont pass 80 db mark, not even stock exhaust passes that test.. But Unfortunately our cops are ignorant and arrogant.. So, 10% chance is there to get fined.. only if youre unlucky.. The DB killer lock nut is "Tack welded" to the exhaust to make the product road legal.. Its upto you to remove the Tack weld, which as per RE "Tampers" otherwise perfectly legal exhaust.. Theoritically speaking..

Sorry for late replies.. It is much lower than BS3 stock with DB killer.. Comparable to red rooster with db killer removed...

Hello bro!! Sorry for the delayed response.. I can understand your concern.. This exhaust sounds very quiet and air leakeage kind of tone with DB killer, and sounds closer to Redrooster without DB killer.. You can alter the DB killer, but the sound wont be that much nice if not done properly,, A friend of mine did some modification to the DB killer and it doesn’t ended up that good., Based on his experience I can suggest one thing, if you’re into modifying the DB killer, The DB killer looks somewhat like a rocket, just cut the tip of the rocket ( folded conical tip) and do some tests to see if the sound is enough, then cut further untill you get the required sound level, you can always weld the tip if required.. never drill any holes or widen the holes on side.. it wont increase sound, but will produce very bad tone..

The crux is, if you place anything that blocks the exhaust directly it reduces sound, so removing the tip of the db killer ( folded sharp conical tip ) is sufficient to increase sound,.. But don’t do the other way around ( keeping the tip and drilling holes in the sides) that wont end up good..

Yes ofcourse.. You can see thru it completely… But one thing, as the diameter is very small (Compared to redrooster, Motowings, and obviously Shark 😂). It provides enough back pressure.. DB killer is there just for RTO.. This exhaust gives proper back pressure even if its completely open🙌

I can confirm that., as I have used numerous custom exhausts and every single one of them pops and bangs, back fires, turns off the engine, over heats the engine, loses power in lower revs, etc.. This exhaust doesn’t have any of the above issues… But it occassionally back fires if I shift down the gear on higher speeds and let it roll.. down the bridge)

Hello brother., Im using this exhaust over an year by now, and as per my experience, There is No significant change in milage… in normal riding.. If you ride it smoothly, and doesnt accelerate or brake too much, it gives 1 or 2 kms more milage than the stock. Sadly… With 350 cc BS4 bend pipe it sounds less louder so I can get away with it.. I wont rev near police and roll the bike on clutch till I cross them..

I lost the original silencer which came with this, like 8 years ago, and if I get the replica, the sound is irritating and loud, that's why I went for the slash cut since it's from the manufacturer, but suddenly now they are saying we should send a letter from rto in which that letter is never issued from the rto itself

Hello brother!! Hope you’re safe!! First of all, If you run without DB killer, Yes the cops stops us if we rev too much, but otherwise I crossed so many cops in this 1.5 yrs and got stopped by only one, for not wearing helmet.. When they asked abt exhaust I said its RE original one., They revved the bike like nuts, and said it doesn’t sound like original., Then after few this and that they left me with a warning.. So you’re at the risk of cops if you ride louder, or if the cops are specifically instructed to crackdown on loud bikes., otherwise its fine., Secondly, It will sound less louder than megaphone at normal riding, and the exhaust produces backpressure somewhat closer to stock at lower revs., simply speaking its less restrictive than stock, but not a freeer flowing exhaust like Greasehouse, As its a stock replacement exhaust which doesnt require carb rejetting or free flow filters, its designed to produce optimum backpressure in order to prevent engine damage., In my opinion Greasehouse exhaust is a performance oriented exhaust., tested and tuned solely for performance., While Peashooter is a stock replacement exhaust, And its designed with stock Setup in mind., So I hope you got my point abt its “freeflow” nature.., You might need to revert to stock air filter setup in order to run this exhaust efficiently ..,

Technically true, But Im myself a bullet user, using it in BS4 bullet and My frnd uses it in his classic. bs6… You can fit it.. But officially its designed for Classic Bs3/4… As in bullet it wont fit snuggly like the classic…. Otherwise you can use it..

With DB killer its 100% legal, No issue of challan.. Without DB killer, you have to convince the cops, and should not ride hard before them.. Ride with DB killer in City and without DB killer where there wont be any cops.. it sounds great bothways and DB killer can be removed or installed in 5 minutes..

Government rules was changed in 2019, They amended the 80 DB sound requirements and included that, Any alteration to exhaust is illegal.. We can always say that, its factory option and we got this exhaust from the bike at time of purchasw and it passed RTO approval.. Thats why DB killer nut is welded as per Rules.. If you cut the weld, it amounts to tampering the exhaust and its illegal.. So logically its very tough to be legal, but practically you can convince the cops as long as there is a DB killer. AND EVEN IF ITS NOT THERE, Dont catch their attention by revving the bike, it sounds very low during normal rpms .. Youre safe to go.. But once they rev the bike, they will know this exhaust sounds louder than Wildboar 🤣🤣..

The exhaust is originally meant to be without DB killer only.. Its given because of Noise regulation rules.. Its upto you to use it with or without DB killer.. And to follow gov rules.. they welded one edge of the lock screw..
