I've never given much thought to cooking prime rib at home......but now I want to give it a shot. This looks like it would taste great.

I remember those smokin' wood blocks. Used all of mine in a big hurry... That was when I discovered that I love Alder wood!

Never tried Alder as best as I remember; which is pretty bad these days! I do love using those BBQ Smoking Sticks, nice and easy 👍

What are your thoughts about adding boiling water to your aluminum pan to help keep the internal kettle temperature more stable?

Good question Gary. I have never used that technique with my Grill Dome. Mainly because I have never had any temp fluctuations (yet). So I can’t give you an answer from any experience I have had. Perhaps some of the other viewers might chime in here with their thoughts?
