guys honestly, the content on this channel is of unbelievable quality. i can't thank you both enough for putting this out there for free. no over-exaggeration when i say you have completely shifted my perspective when it comes to training/sports and i am someone that is just your average gym-goer. i have been here since the "why it can't always be 5x5" theory of training video. you're highly HIGHLY overlooked and i wish you all the best. i am also now a huge fan of olympic weightlifting and that's entirely down to you. enjoy the evening lads, thank you for all the knowledge.

I am a random guy commenting on youtube. I benched 145kgs after training naturally for 12 years at 91kgs bodyweight. I've been on 250mg of test e for 7 months. My bench press has gone up to 165kgs. This comment is meaningless.

Broderick once said "I honestly wish every natural would just die", and then smiled. Thoughts on this statement? Could it be added to the constitution of Sikastan?

I wish there was something to legitimize this guy for me, but his way of speaking just makes him seem less credible. Ill also add that as someone who has been in and around strength sport for 14 years now I do think the "everyones on drugs" thing sometimes comes off as a bit lazy. In weightlifting its obviously a shit show and theres plenty of evidence to base that on. In powerlifting, I dont think its nearly as bad as some people claim. With the USAPL lifters as an example. What is holding the conspiracy together? I dont see all these young guys being in a conspiracy without a real threat of consequence.

I know many who have bench pressed 400+ naturally, Including myself. However I was 285 when I hit 435 😅😅😅😅😅😅

Maybe it's naive but I think most people are capable of a 2x bodyweight bench press if they specialize and avoid injury

200 CJ unattainable as a natural, huh? Eoin 190 CJ = suspicious haha

Alphadestiny is the only man i believe is natural with a 400+ lb bench. He had to modifiy his training very much and totally prioritize the bench to achieve it but I do think he was natural.

I've never really cared about using gear, or people that are using gear, but by the time I was in highschool there were so many guys, with 3 months training experience, taking gear that it actually turned me off of gear completely.

I really enjoyed this discussion. Makes me realise that I'm special and one of a few!. I have never taken PEDs and started training at 17yrs old at about 140 pounds. At 45yrs old 190lbs I bench pressed 180KG, did it again at 49yrs and again recently at 58yrs 200lbs. If I had taken PEDs at 17yrs I potentially could have been a 550lbs or even 600lbs bencher... Or more likely dead by now!!!!

I remember watching Charlie Francis testify at the Dublin Inquiry in Canada. He described how he began taking steroids to learn an understanding of their effect, which he thought was important to do since he was giving them to Ben. I remember him describing his astonishment at how quickly his bench press increased. I wonder what impact his testimony had outside of Canada. For us, he blew the covers off and revealed the rampant drug use in track and field, something I'll never forget.

I remember being a teen in the mid/late 1980s. I'd see the guys in "Muscle & Fitness" who were obviously on 'roids and I always wondered how in the heck they were able to acquire such copious amounts of steroids. How did they get their hands on such a huge and consistent supply?

Eric Bugenhagen did a 405 decline touch and go benchpress a while back when i think he was still natty at 220-230 bodyweight. Now he's around 260-270 and seems to have taken something 1-2 years ago, after which he got a ~475 benchpress.
