This stunning Peddling Puppeteer automata mechanical wooden model has been designed and created by @ilobuild.
The model has several mechanical functions and a music box that is hand cranked, and the best part is that it also comes with its own unique story behind this model, you can have a read below 👇
Most of this model pieces have already been painted in beautiful colours.
The assembly is very straight forward, but you have to remember to sand the links and wax all the necessary parts.
All the pieces connect with ease and aren’t that easy to break which is handy.
I did however write numbers next to all pieces as that makes life easier instead of going back to the first page to figure out what piece is what number.
You can check out their models on Amazon as they’re cheaper there: amzn.to/4cHUP0w

The Peddling Puppeteer and his friends story:
On a cloudless, moonlit night, an old man appeared in the village, peddling an ancient wooden cart that creaked and crunched the autumn leaves beneath its wheels. He brought the old cart to rest in an overgrown paddock down by the old mill, a place almost forgotten by the town's elders but much loved by the local children, who seemed to sense the arrival of the stranger.
Aged and gaunt he may have been, but the old man hopped down from his cart with surprising ease of movement. As he quickly began unloading pieces of wood and bits of canvas, the children started to arrive. Wordlessly, they pulled bales of hay into a semi-circle around the haphazard structure being erected-a large wooden box covered with canvas, an opening at the front flanked by red velvet curtains. Above the opening, a carefully painted sign read,
"Percival the Peddling Puppeteer."
With the stage now assembled, the puppeteer was nowhere to be seen! The children were growing restless when a single dim light bulb flickered on above the opening in the stage. A muffled cough, and
then a small puppet dog named Pomeroy appeared on stage, looking around nervously. A child's voice cried out, "Pomeroy, where are you?!"
The dog disappeared behind a curtain.
A young puppet girl marched to center stage and announced herself, "Oh hello, my
name is Penelope. Have you seen my little dog? He seems to have disappeared. I just want to give him a cuddle and lots of kisses!"
The children could just see a large black cat crouching on top
AY CHIHUAHUA of a cupboard. This cat, called Prue, having an un-savory
disposition, didn't like the girl and absolutely loathed the scrawny dog. Pomeroy put aside his fear of the cat and begged the brute to save him from the girl's embrace. "When she cuddles me, all the air is squeezed from my lungs, and she just about drowns me in her slobbery kisses!" Laughter erupted from the children. To this, Prue replied, "Sure, I'll help you," and pretended to eat the dog.
The laughter of the children echoed across the field, and the stage under the moonlight seemed even more magi-cal. The Peddling Puppeteer and his puppet friends had once again brought joy and laughter to this ancient village.
