awesome interview !! I think the words "simple" as well as "natural" to describe the quality of melody he talks about will always leave a judging taste in the mouth. I would suggest the word "soulful" - which simply means deep, heartfelt, sincere. Then it can sound like however it should be.

Also, as a jazz composer, I stay buried in my own material…… that the beauty of the musical world slips quickly by me………..such a bittersweet existence…. lol This is the 5 or 6 interview I’ve heard thus far……….. embarrassing to not have heard of these musical poets!!! I can “ HEAR “; through the sheer attempts to convey his feelings…. how deep Mr. Martins flow must descend in his musical reach! No, I’ve not heard anything from him, …….
