Anyone under age of 50 cant comprehend what we lost in those years. Still remember losing Martin and JFK like it was yesterday.
@joycepino97494 ай бұрын
I was 8 when JFK died. I was a teenager when Martin and RFK died. I had a little sense of what was going on at the time politically. but never was interested in politics. I used to see pictures of the Vietnam War on TV, the riots, the killings of John, Martin and Bobby. It was a lot to take in. It seems every generation had a war, my father was born during WWI in Italy, He served in WWII. My older brother was born during that war, 1943. My middle brother was born during the Korean War. We all experienced the Vietnam War and all the other wars after that.

Facts: Lincoln was a Republican. The Republican Party was started to oppose the extension of slavery. More Republican Congressmen than Democrats voted to end Jim Crow laws. Fact: John Kennedy was shot by a man with pro-communist sympathies. Robert Kennedy was shot by a Palestinian terrorist. Neither Kennedy was killed by a racist or white supremacist. Martin Luther King and Abraham Lincoln-both Republicans-were. Now, that settled, great and inspiring tribute. Peace.
