The Drug In Me Is You, and The Drug In Me Is Reimagined. You need to do them both, and in that order. The same song 10 years apart, but done different. You will see his range of different genres.

Its not about dissing god, its absolutely about being pushed to the edge and feeling so helpless he's crying out and or angry asking the question Where is your god now? People push god as an answer to all your problems but when there's no answer, then, it's easy to understand why someone would ask that question. I know I've felt that way before. But great reaction guys! ❤❤❤❤

The girl is his daughter. What I always got out of that scene was, his daughter is always what guides him back to peace and happiness, or brings him back to reality and calms him down. His daughter is such a big part of his life.

This was a random asf reaction 😂 On a serious note: I'm battling severe depression and the visuals of Ronnie changing from natural him to werewolf and back again, I connect with. I relate it to slipping into a really dark depressive episode and coming out again. Having to pick up the pieces and readjust back to "living" again. Shit's brutal! Much love to everyone struggling! ❤️

Ronnie is a one of a kind artist. Legit. He touches on every single genre there is. He even has an old track that's basically COUNTRY. In your last video reacting to Voices in My Head, the first character he is in the room inside the third eye was his original artist persona. When Falling in Reverse first came out he was definitely a part of the whole scene phase every hot alternative band was doing at the time. (I.e. Black Veild Brides, Panic! At the Disco.) He's actually the original vocalist for Escape the Fate, but they dropped him when he had went to prison. I personally didn't like him when he was part of Escape the Fate. I prefer their new vocalist. But I LOVE him as the vocalist for Falling in Reverse. Ronnie has definitely had his ups and downs and done some fucked up shit in the past. But I've come to realize that the only good artists are actually problematic AF 😂😅 I feel like he's really tried turning his shit around since his daughter Willow was born. That's the vibe I get from the end of this video. He was a monster, but she's pulled him back together and back to reality after he absolutely lost it and was at his worst. I also need to comment on the whole "dissing God" thing. I feel like you take it too personal when it comes to that. When a lot of these artists talk negatively about the Christian god, they're typically more referring to the church itself. It's not the individual practitioners and religious folks that are (usually) the issue. It's the big churches and organized religion that has brainwashed it's followers into hurting others in order to carry out its own agenda to continuously abuse marginalized groups. Many people are no longer believers or struggle with their faith specifically because of how the church tries to run the entire world and how it's always used as the basis to discriminate and hurt others. (I.e. POC, other religions, women, LGBTQ+, poor people, etc) He's pointing out how people claim to be believers of a faith and practice that faith, but become hypocrites when it comes to treating those who society sees as "other". Basically talking and preaching love and acceptance, but then turning around and doing the exact opposite in their actions. Especially politically.
@lyricmonster9658
@lyricmonster9658 Жыл бұрын
All that being said, I gotta emphasize there's nothing wrong with believing in the Christian god. That's not what artists or others have an issue with. At all. It is ENTIRELY because of the agenda of the church. Not the individual believers. And I feel like those who a new to the faith or who are still believers fail to see the bigger picture in why people get upset or talk negatively about Christianity. The religion itself isn't the problem. The belief itself isn't the problem. And any real Christians who know their stuff AND their history will know and agree that the church has, historically and still today, used people's faith as a way to control the masses for its own benefit. You can love your faith and your god and still realize those facts and be understanding as to why people feel the need to express their transgressions against the church. Because MOST of those who put this in their music actually used to be a part of the faith. It's not something they're choosing to lash out against our of ignorance. It's personal experience.

YEP a lot of people believe most rockers are satanist's or rock with Satin, but that's just not true, a majority of them are seekers. but it's the church that does a lot of eviler things, and it sort of pushes people away from it to be honest., and A bunch of them deter people from the actual word of the lord, to what the priests wants the people to listen to, so they can richen their pockets, and live lavish lives. A priest who knows the actual word of the lord but chooses to still sin against God by lying to Gods children, is a far greater sin.

To answer your question of where Ronnie is from, well Las Vegas NV, however I did watched a clip where Ronnie stated his ethnicity is Portuguese and Blackfoot, for some background info. Also I believe his issue with God may have begun or solidified after his brother was killed in an accident. He wrote a song 'Brother' - which from my understanding, he no longer performs - but is on the their album 'Just Like You' released in 2015. The lyrics in that song are fairly eye opening. In addition, as with many comments here, you may want to do a couple double reactions; The Drug in Me is You (2011)/The Drug in Me Reimagined (2020) and then I am not a Vampire (2011)/I am not a Vampire Revamped (2021). In 2011 FIR was a Rock/Punk Band, so the first song(s) of those reactions are gonna be ALOT different than what you have seen so far. I really like their music from that time - for what it was then. The reimagined/revamped songs though... are. just. jaw. dropping. The same lyrics, even the breakdowns are the same - just different instruments (recomposed). The songs really hit different. Many say (myself included) that FIR's music is something you Feel. Anyway - a few other suggestions: The Trio: Losing my Mind (2018), Losing My Life (2018), Drugs (2019). All three were released as singles and then on an EP in 2019. OH! and in 2014, Ronnie did a cover of Gangsta's Paradise with Coolio. Does not disappoint. Really enjoyed your reaction(s) to FIR and hope to see more! Also hit several other reactions you've done - wasn't excepting to do that but I like your comments and conversation - so, consider you 'liked' and 'subscribed'. ;)

Another great reaction. You should totally reach out to Ronnie about that interview. He isn't doing many interviews but he does them with very different people/channels, not necessarily the "biggest". Radke is pretty common in Germany and Poland. Ronald Radke is his real name. He's got a face tattoo with RR and says it stands for rapping and rocking. Ronnie has European and Native American heritage as far as I know. Please check out the trilogy Losing My Mind, Losing My Life and Drugs (in this order). Greetings from Germany

So, I've watched all 3 (currently) of your reactions to Falling In Reverse and have an interesting take; I've primarly been a rocker/metal head my whole life and have never really had a relationship to Hip Hop. Similar to your stance with Rock/Metal. I thought about it and I believe the reason is that the message being given really isn't something I've associated with or bonded to. The closest I could say I've been to Hip Hop was listening to Limp Bizkit / Linkin Park in my early teens. The interesting part here, is that Falling In Reverse sends a message I can understand and brings Hip Hop to the table for me in a way I never expected, and that's the brilliance of Ronnie and FIRs music. It's bringing Hip Hop to a point of appreciation for Metal, and it's bringing Metal to a point of appreciation for Hip Hop. In a weird way, bringing everyone together, which is what music always should of been about. At least, I think so. Thanks for the reactions, I'm hoping to see a lot more!

Ronnie in his songs talks about how a person with depression feels and how others believe that it is just a phase that will pass without much importance, about how he feels with all the social pressure and criticism that he has had to submit in his entire career, that's why he says "where the fuck is your god now", if everything is good and divine, where is god when a person with depression is suffering, I don't know if they understand what depression really is, but let me tell you, it's not pretty to deal with it

Suffering myself from -amongst a couple of other things, double depression, I so much love the lyrics: "I think I'm going nowhere like a rat trapped in a maze Every wall that I knock down is just a wall that I replace I'm in a race against myself, I try to keep a steady pace How the fuck will I escape if I never close my case?"

At this time, he said he had serious anger issues and used to go into rages. He is similar to Ren story wise and has multidimensional talent, but they are obviously very different creatures. Like Ren, he is very upfront about his struggles with depression and addiction. He also sort of heals himself and others with his music, ie allowing the listener to release anger and rage. His struggles are very relatable, although in his songs, pushing them way over the edge like fantastical, eerie and chilling films! I have seen some short interviews with him, he is a nice and very honest guy, but not as brave and self aware as Ren is 💖

I always saw it as here’s a person who has been looking for relief from the impending downward spiral he knows is coming. He attempts to do the right thing and be open to those that are supposed to be professionals; maybe to his loved ones, etc and he’s betrayed emotionally by all of them. The therapist makes a phone call that ends up having him chased down as if he’s the problem and is ALREADY the monster he’s trying to prevent. I never saw it as a diss to God. If you’ve ever struggled with mental stuff you probably have heard many platitudes to “turn to god, pray, you’ll find peace”. He says he does pray, proving how hard he’s trying because he doesn’t even believe. But when you feel that low and there’s no relief it’s very isolating and hopelessness overwhelms you. usually nothing but crickets from the people who don’t have the tools to help. It only intensifies the spiral. That turns it into a double meaning. Like, “I tried everything, it didn’t work, what now? “ vs. “I warned you this would happen, and you better start praying for yourself.” Even the kindest animal can bite when they’re cornered.

Ronnie is goofy as hell. In interviews he is actually very humble and reserved. He has his demons definitely, but boy is goofy. He and his girlfriend, formerly known as WWE Diva Paige, now Saraya in the AEW are hilarious together. Fun fact, Ronnie was baptized when he was a lot younger, he posted a pic of it on his Instagram a few months ago😂 His dad was a drug addict, in a biker gang, got saved and is now a Biker for Christ. When he got the crown of thorns tat he was like “my dad is gonna be mad…”. You can tell by the respect with which he always speaks of his dad that there is a lot of love there!

Second comment to say stop taking the lyrics so literally lol. "Where the fuck is you God now" is the perfect sentiment for this song. He's expressing how hes been through a battle with his mental health and people just keep telling him it's a phase but he "don't know if it's a phase" and he just wants to be ok. The little girl at the end is Ronnie's Daughter. You guys said at the beginning "don't get yourself convicted here Ronnie" Ronnie already did his time, hence the court room scenes. Ronnie actually formed the band while he was in jail.

I've heard people say Popular Monster is the "4th" part of the trilogy if you remember Loosing My Mind / Life are about his battles with addiction and his mom and dads battle with it etc... Ronnie is clean and sober now and his daughter is what keeps him grounded as seen in this video he turns into what everyone says and transforms into the ware wolf and his daughter is the thing that brings him back outa it... there's probably a longer more specific way he's explained all those relationships and reasonings but you get the point...

Ronnie is his own genre of music 🎶 he just wants to do what he wants to do, so you better keep up because others are following what he doing! Love ❤️ the breakdown! He’s been through a lot made some bad choices and some good but he’s really matured and worked hard on just wanting to be a better person a better man! That happens as we learn from experiences and change comes with that! Others have said this and so have I MUST in the same video The Drug In Me Is You original then do The Drug In Me Is You reimagined, do that first! Then do in the same video I’m Not A Vampire original then I’m Not A Vampire (Revamped)! Just the same lyrics one done by a younger Ronnie and one by a mature Ronnie! Your face’s will be PRICELESS!

Yes it's a pentagram. One of Ronnie's best friends owns Blackcraft. Several of the things you see in the videos are from Blackcraft. 😊💜

Just so you know, the little girl at the end is Ronnie's daughter. Also, as others have said, you need to do Drug in me is you and the 2nd one after that (reimagined). Also do Not a Vampire and vampire 2 revamped. Some other good ones are Zombiefied and Coming Home.

that little girl is his daughter. i interpreted it as she is his salvation to become a better man; rid himself of his "inner monster" per say.

If yall wanna hear the old school kings of melodic death metal, there's a band called In Flames, they and a couple others from Sweden pretty much pioneered melodeath. New songs like meet your maker, older stuff like swim, bullet ride, my sweet shadow, they have an andless list of bangers

Your band name of "fisting Satan" just reminds me of Andy Biersack in an interview with BryanStarzz and he eventually got a shirt based on a joke they made, "All Your Hate Goes To My Dick." My favorite freaking thing from an interview, ever lol. I want that t-shirt.
