Hi there, the shown technique in the video is only one of many. In today's digital age, this application is rather unusual, but allows laboratories without a digital focus to process high-performance polymers too. The acquisition costs of a pressing system are much lower compared to CAD/CAM systems. Thus, the laboratory can keep the added value inhouse. The advantage of pressing is that there are no undercuts. If you are cutting big parts out of the blank you will always have undercuts to re-prep before you will be able to continue with the veneering. If you have the possibility for using CADCAM, we would recommend to use your system. Best wishes, Barbara
