@@brambl3014 a lite version of it yeah. Only the rule"If fainted, can't use the pokemon anymore" is applied to her run. Also she can resurrect all of her fainted Pokemon at the end of the game.

Rock and ground types are very strong in the right situations but graveler is unfortunately 4x weak to water.

@@Good_Hot_Chocolate rock is super weak to a lot of types, in this case 4x weak to water 4x weak to grass 2x weak to ground,fighting and steel and more weakness i can't remember without looking it up

@@vitortakara7090 indeed it is, I was more referring to Ground, but Rock and Ground types both encompass some of the strongest pokemon throughout the games. Just look at Groudon, Aggron, Tyrantrum, Gigalith, Tyrannitar, Landorus, Excadrill, etc.

@@Good_Hot_Chocolate ground/rock is a nigh unparalleled type combo to have attacks for and ground or rock type pokemon tend to do very well, but ground/rock is a horrid type combo to be (also trying to rely on your bulk to carry you like so many ground/rocks do fails hard when you are 4x weak to two moderately common types)

@@BigShork Pelipper is Flying/Water type, and water type attacks do four times the normal damage against Graveler because it's Rock/Ground type.

Which wouldn’t be the worst thing in the universe as flying is 2x weak to rock, but even with that, Pelipper is 2x faster so it will always go first with it’s 4x damage. In short, even with rock vs. flying as an advantage, Graveler stands 0 chance.

I see, her Graveler has Sturdy, so she thought she wont get one shoted by anything. However, Sturdy only works on Full HP. Even so, she battled while hailing, so even if she did have full HP and tanked the Water Pulse, she would most likely die due to hail, especially since she uses Rock Blast, it might not kill the Pelipper in one move. She is indeed doomed when she didnt switch.

But it dying from the hail probably would’ve been funnier. The moment of fear seeing their hp drop, followed by the moment of hope when it managed to survive with its ability and believing it can still be saved, all concluding with the moment of despair when the hail deals the finishing blow.

"This might be god!" *Gets hit by water move that its QUAD weak to* For real learning the type chart through experience is probably the best, but also Graveler being rock ground basically means its super weak to half of the types in the game, but also resistant to the other half lol.

The funny thing is that the quad weakness wouldn't have mattered as the Graveler SHOULD have survived cuz of its Sturdy ability. But because it defeated a Pokemon and took damage from Hail weather at the end of the turn, Sturdy got completely nullified and put Graveler in kill range. That one safety net Pekora had misfired at the worst moment lmao

The rock type makes it slow, most ground type are actually pretty fast. For example Sandshrew and Dugtrio.
