Really great footage. I'm searching for any footage of the Akropolis Express Munich-Athens which I rode in 1973. We had bicycles and came from Ostend or Calais by train changed at Munich. The bikes arrived a few days later in Athens must have been a delay at Munich. I think the Akropolis Express started from Frankfurt? It was mainly a Gastarbeiten cattle truck - boy didn't we suffer the over crowding, foul toilets and very aggressive armed border control officers in Yugoslavia. The dinng car was our refuge a curious old fashioned wood panelled antique with eccentric chef. David

Hi Nicholas, thanks for uploading great views and train ride! But I can not find Kalamaki on the map, is it near Korinth as I saw the canal at the beginning? Please help as I like to follow on the map. Cheers David.

Hi David, thanks for your interest and I'm pleased you enjoyed the video. Kalamaki is between Isthmos & Aghios Theodori so yes, it's after the canal heading East towards Athens. I hope this helps. Nick.
