The 16th Karmapa loved birds...it's funny how when Pema begins to talk about something the Karmapa told her there was a bird singing and she pauses. :)

On his last tour, I had the pleasure of painting the room in the house His Holiness stayed at in Vancouver, Canada. Never took refuge, went on a different adventure.

Just because someone is following a different religion than Christianity doesn't mean they are a lost soul. Pema Chodron is committed to a life of purity, spirituality and compassion. Isn't that the same message and values as Jesus?

@@zhmw Christians point to what God did for mankind but Buddhist themselves want to earn Salvation with self effort neurotic path. It’s polar opposite. I’m a Tibetan & I left Buddhism ☸️ because it’s a Stupid cult started by Gautam Siddartha. I cannot save myself. I need a Savior ☝🏾
