The reasons every single person was so quick to press the button, is because they were scared the other person would press it first, therefore it became a race to find something you could justify the press with. Whoever created this show accidentally made a psychological experiment instead of a dating game It also had two distinct groups the whole time. The ones who were willing to press it, and the ones who were not (obviously) but it’s still interesting to see how peoples personality’s affected their willingness to press it

Yeah that was legitimately kind of irritating. She wasn't even willing to hear out a lot of the guys she was buzzing past. I think the idea I saw someone else mention of the buzzer being a way to take themselves off would have been better since it may let the people actually give the other more time to talk a bit rather than making them leave while leaving the attention seeker able to sit there and soak up the attention.

To add to that; I feel like it has a lot to do with options. Because of the design of the show, everyone feels like they have more freedom to be strict with their standards. There's no reason for the contestants to even give the other person much of a chance to connect with them because they can just cycle through to the next person until they find one that works. Same logic as a dating app too

@shizumeru_2 жыл бұрын
This "game" would be infinitely better if pressing the button took you out of the game, not the other person. In that frame, pressing the button has much more consequences because as it stands pressing the button = more screen time. It would also be more interesting to see the rejected person on screen more often because they barely get a sentence out. This is probably some psychology experiment though, especially with that button sabotaging questions and choosing when to turn red. The last pairing always gets treated differently than the first several.
@yellowandbrown18642 жыл бұрын
that seems like a way better concept
@abigbutterstick17802 жыл бұрын
Or just limit it to 3, so you have to try to make it work with person 1 or go to person 2. But now if person 2 is less of a match you can risk going to 3 but if 3 really isn't right for you now you're sending yourself out. At least put some consequences on the person kicking someone out for being 23 not 25.
