No ball bearings in the red Jigmaster. I have an 80s model with an aluminum spool and oil impregnated bushings. I also have an early model 505 Jigmaster that does have 2 ball bearings.

Try to get a jig Master 505hs if you don't already. Love the 500 grew using them.

Hi there I recently purchased a super jig master 506 hs new in box it has burgundy side plates and orange handle and cork round the spool could you give me more info on this model thanks
