Pennine Way 2019 - Day 4 - YHA Mankinholes to Earby Hostel

Day 4 of the Pennine Way adventure was long one, 26 miles with over 1,300 metres of climbing. I set off from YHA Mankinholes and finished at the supperb Hostel at Earby.

I clearly remember the steep climb from Hebden Bridge when me and my brother walked from there to Gargrave one day (small rucksacks only)....the weather was abysmal and foliage/nettles etc all wet through...we got a right drenching as you can imagine. Great day out though,beer in Masons Arms (thoroughly recommend it,and the food), fabulous pub in Gargrave.

Just found these videos. Thank you, Dean. Brings back memories from my attempt way back in 1975 when my girlfriend and I made it as far at Top Withins but had to turn back for health reasons. Really appreciate you putting these together. One day I'll return!
