I'm sure there are a myriad more examples, but the solo i always think of using this technique is the guitar solo in China Grove. It goes from major to minor.

Nice. But why not use the key of A, middle of the fret board, easier to see and understand IMO. Maybe because it wouldn’t sound as “shreddy “. 🤷🏽‍♂️ Good video.

I've watched this brilliant video, just questioning my own knowledge here: Do you start and end the G minor pentatonic with a flattened B? I can't get past the idea of starting on root notes, slightly confused. I.e - starting that G minor pentatonic from G on the high E string. What am I doing wrong here? 🤣

What about the flat 5 for the blues scale?

When you drop down 3 frets the b5 of the minor blues scale becomes the m3rd I’m the Major Blues scale. All the licks you’d use with the minor blues scale transfer and vice versa
