I mean, I could go on for days about how talented Pentatonix is and how amazing they are as singers, but can I just say... whoever chose their outfits, did their makeup, and designed the whole look for this video really knocked it out of the park. Each member of the group looks amaaaazing :O

Loved it, but looked like they were going for more a Halloween feel than Christmas, especially with some of the make-up and costume choices. I mean, even knowing the song, I was almost expecting them to be a bunch of immortals with their mementos from the centuries gone by.

OK, my favorite things here: 1. The technical sophistication of the harmony. 2. Kevin was insanely impressive with his vocal percussion. To me, this seemed to stand above most of his already impressive work. 3. Kristen's lead was exactly right for this song. 4. The look of Christmas in the 1800's nostalgia. Props to the set and costume designer(s). 5. Keeping the feel of the original song and making it more upbeat and modern. That's a Pentatonix Christmas to me.

I see several possibilities that should deserve a nomination. This one, Once a December, Amazing Grace, and Thank You. I would vote for Thank You myself. They also seem to be expanding the boundaries of what they can do (as they have been doing from the start). Really looking forward to the next original album.

I never think of this song as Christmas, but I LOVED their arrangement! I loved the theatrics, the costumes, the ‘choreography’, if you will. Kirstie nailed the leads so cleanly, and I can’t help it, but I always find Mitch mesmerizing. I just can’t take my eyes off him. Finally, I loved the discord throughout the arrangement, particularly at the very end. What a cool progression!

I never thought of it as a Christmas song either. I decided to do some research and found out the promoters of the Broadway musical asked the writers to change a few of the words to make the song sound a little more Christmas like and they released it early to help advertise the play which debuted over the holiday season. So while not specifically meant to be a Christmas song, it’s been associated with Christmas since it’s release

I love how very intense they have made this song! Sweet to slightly scary! The original is sweet enough to be used for a glucose tolerance test, this is a brilliant interpretation! Love your work Pentatonix, I look forward to each release.

They talked about that once. There are people up on lifts throwing things, and that one landed so perfectly but Matt had no clue it happened. He said that if he had seen it he would have cracked up so he's glad he didn't! Such a cool shot!

Always messes with my head. I used to go to sleep to Coltrane playing it every night when I was a kid, but it's nice hearing it in the original keys (half step below and above trane). Amazing rendition. Love it!

Anyone else think they need a whole movie of this kind of stuff. Their expressions and mannerisms are just so good. I absolutely love this. love the steampunk Alice in wonderland vibe. While their vocal harmony is unbelievable, mad props to whoever comes up with the overall theme of the videos. In spite of it being something about Christmas, the video looks like an unique regal family; Mitch as the regal Head, Matt as the stoic butler, Scott as the laid-back, careless but caring bro, Kevin as the unsocial, lazy brat of a little bro and Kirstie as the bubbly, cheerful Pinkie Pie-esque sister trying to instill the cheer of the holidays into her serious family! Truly outstanding!
