Done it, I have little that I wish to complain about in general. I love using a DSLR. I would love to see the return of the Q series.

1. Offer a mirrorless option for your APS-C and FF bodies, just like you do for your Ricoh GRIII model. 2. Improve your auto-focus 3. Improve your lens lineup to remove the problem with too much Chromatic Abberation in your lenses (35mm F2.8 macro as an example) 4. Put 4K 60p video output in your camera bodies. Do those 4 things and you will increase your sales 10 times over. Pentax bodies are the most enjoyable to use - menu is superb, body is robust, sensors are fantastic too. But Pentax needs to OFFER a mirrorless option because most people want mirrorless. They can still keep DSLRs for the customers who want it, but offer mirrorless for the 90% of people that want mirrorless. The Pentax K mount 35mm F2.8 macro is the sharpest lens I have ever used in my life, but the CA problems made me return it. Pentax's number 1 selling camera is a compact mirrorless camera - the GR series - so they should stop pretending that DSLR is the way to go for the future.

They already are going the film route which is what I wanted 😁 I'll do the feedback mainly to flog hybrid AF. It's absolute nonsense they don't use it for live view AF like the Canon 6Dii or the D780. That essentially gives you mirrorless and an SLR in one body. Bizarre what they've got in the KF only using hybrid for video. I mean, just license the algorithms from OM Systems.

I'll be pretty frank; I have no will to move to a mirrorless camera. I believe Pentax carved out it's niche. They aren't running around and releasing camera after camera, or running after Nikon, Canon or Fuji (I love those brands btw), they NEED to keep OVF. It's become the distinguishing mark of Pentax, and a future film SLR relies on that tech. I don't want to see Pentax become just another corporate brand making Mirrorless "just because the mass" wants it. When you handle gems like the Limited Lenses, you get an apprciation for qulity crafted camera equipment. For myself, I feel like I breathe and enjoy taking Photos, more than I'm just rushing to look for the next model with a few numbers that are over marketed. OVF and Film for me.

I think Pentax did the same before releasing the monochrome. According to Pentax they did it on request of the users and it was a success!

I can’t wait to give feedback on the lack of replacement parts such as knobs or doors. The atrocious focusing during video. But also on the beautiful bokeh, the much faster burst mode for sports and birding..

Deff a Great Direction. Pentax. !! Love to see this underwater camera, ar a 2025 . Full manual camera. For your vintage. Glass, .and add a few newer vintage glass. Would live to see a newer version of the 600mm or even a longer lense . A 800mm prime, a newer k1 iii. Keep the tilt screen. And snap on....

For me this comes about 15 years too late. I quit Pentax after being a loyal Pentaxian for about 40 years. Now I shoot Canon.
