The RSVP hasn’t been made in the US in a good 15+ years. The older US ones were nicer in my experience. Newer Mexico made ones tended to glob more while writing, especially the fine point.

Shocked you got the ink that low, with the writing still on the barrel. Maybe the ones that say USA have better paint? These pens are the best though.
