There is nothing wrong in becoming a healthier person and working out. People should never body shame her. The problem is that Piper is losing weight so fast when losing weight is a whole process.

It's an exercise addiction. That can happen. She's addicted to the natural dopamine release from working out. My heart goes out to her!

As a person who used to use working out as a coping mechanism I can agree that she might have done this out of sadness or maybe she’s trying to better herself because her life is like falling apart and she’s trying to fix it ( that’s what it was like for me) but don’t take my word for it cuz we never know what’s happening in her life

Here’s all i’ll say, people will change when growing up especially into teens years until young adult. Personally last summer i was hanging out w ppl everyday and going out, yet this summer, i’m just sticking to working on myself, and working out is one of the main things i’m doing. However, from what we’ve seen Piper struggle with in the past, and what has recently come out about her mother, there is a reason to be concerned. Piper has openly discussed about her ed before in past tense, so yes, this could be a situation to worry about- or it could just be a teenage girl growing up as she learns what’s good for her body; which could often lead to dramatic weight changes. Still whatever it is, there is no reason to comment without any confirmed evidence, this is a human teenage girl we’re talking about.

Also, Piggy. You say Piper has no one to talk to, to hug, etc. Piggy was that for her. Until he died. Piper has made it clear she very much still misses Piggy. It hasn't even been 2 years yet. As a person with depression I use runing/working out as a way to carm me down and I've have my "dad" that's left me 13 yr ago try to add me of Facebook then ignored me when I tryed to talk to him I can just be a way to cope

It’s almost like she just went through some very TRAUMATIC events. I just can’t even believe people are really pointing out her weight. It’s crazy. I’m going through a difficult time right now too but that never stops people from commenting about my body. There are people who gain weight from stress and people who lose it. I guarantee if she gained a bunch of weight this wouldn’t even be an issue. I feel so bad for anybody whose body is being posted all over and criticized but this is a TEENAGE GIRL. If she does have an ED all this attention on her body will not help. ok i’m not a big fan of piper but i don’t understand what the problem is with losing a lot of wait in a short amount of time like she’s just being healthier i really don’t think it’s a big deal…

then again, she is 15 when your a teen, many things happen, weight changing, positivity for certain things, etc etc... i dont feel like its not her moms fault, but then again, shes a growing woman, she might just want to stay slim and good looking, since she might know that teens around her age just kind of quit sometimes, like anna oop said, "self love"... Then again, It might be her moms fault, or her old friends, or something we dont even know about...

Ive had many friends who just out of nowhere get so into fitness that it becomes an obsession. It's sad to watch because like working out can be healthy and good for you but when you start losing friends over it, it's no longer healthy. My friends would stop coming around becuase they had to go to the gym. They would only order the lowest calorie foods off the menu and barely finish it even though I know they used to eat more than that. Its okay to want to to lose weight and be healthy, but when it becomes an obsession, its important for friends and family to intervene because people really do become obsessed with fitness and its not good to not take breaks.

We may need to reverse engineer this. As someone who has been there done that, I know that while fitness and good eating is great, it can become an addiction in itself. I would like to imagine that Piper is doing this for all the right reasons. But when doing it becomes the ONLY reason, that can become a bad thing. I hope that Piper is working out to feel good and not just working out to work out. Exercise can be just as unhealthy as downing junk food. Keep it in check Piper!

She looks very athletic now, more so than she did before. There is nothing scary about her weight loss, it's all good and young people need to look in the mirror and see if they, too, should adjust their body for the better. The thing is, she has the body type that if she did not go on a work out plan and/or a diet change (actually I have no idea what she was eating before), she would have surely been overweight or worse. Be happy for people who change for the better. I am not even her fan, I have always disliked most of that squad, the ones who escaped I actually liked.
