Well, no but actually yes In culinary terms, aioli is a separate thing from mayo. As aioli should not have eggs in it unlike mayo. The base of aioli just being oil and garlic. So calling it “garlic aioli” is just dumb. However, in the US, they just make mayo with garlic and call it garlic aioli cause it sounds fancy for people who don’t know what it is.

Yeah they sell egg sandwiches just like this at a spot in vegas too and they added to. their menu because the owner wife is korean and they wanted to bring some of home street food to vegas with an american twist. These sandwiches are really good.
