Believe me, my caboose’s relationship has gotten complicated. I had him when I was 42. His oldest sibling of my three (not his dad’s three) is Deaf. Plus he has an incarcerated brother. His sister is an attorney. Both she & my caboose were home births. He & I used to joke around a lot! I miss that. I wish he’d call more than once every couple months and NOT because he’s recording. But I understand. My life is kind of bleak and who needs to hear your mom complaining!

He's also trying to force her into a medical procedure she's not comfortable with! He's just as as fault as she is in this situation, honestly. And he probably started it by requiring her to get vaccinated to see him, when they could have easily just taken tests if he was that worried. Just goes to show that some will let politics get in the way of family. I feel bad for them both.

It’s something close to what I’ve said to my son from the time he was small. He’s older and we do it less now (unless he’s upset or scared or missing me) but it goes : Me: where are you always? Him: In your heart. Me: and where am I always? Him: in my heart.

Meh, my dad died when I was younger, but he was also extremely abusive and we never had a loving relationship. I ended up realizing that I wasn't grieving over the relationship we did have, but the relationship *I wish we could have had.* The father that I would never have regardless.

I’d never lost a friend to distance until adulthood and my bestie moved 6 states away last year and I only saw her for a day over the holidays and it was the most refreshing start to my new year. ugh

I want to know if ALL the callers had to inform the person they were calling that it was being recorded! Knowing and watching later and being critically slashed because you didn’t hear the WHOLE conversation is a bit unnerving. I’d connect every day if he called. I call and get his voicemail. Not fun, unless I leave annoying messages!

Please don’t be sad. He could video chat with me! Plus, I’ve come over twice, before there were vaccines and he had no problem then. If he REALLY wanted to see me, he’d find a way. His big brother who isn’t vaccinated visits and I’ve not gotten sick. He wouldn’t visit if he had symptoms(speaking of his big brother)! I use zinc, Vitamin D, and NAC to boost my immune system. But if I die, I die. Everyone will sooner or later. Oh, and I believe in N95 masks and isolating 98% of the time. And he could video chat!

The grandma and grandpa calls make me so sad but so happy. I miss my grandma so much. I'm so thankful to still have my grandpa here with me physically.

Biggest pill ive already had to swallow was hearing my mom only has 1 year left to live after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. God, I do not look forward to those dark days when she's no longer around. But I'm grateful for the time she still has and she's been doing well

How old is your mom? If she’s younger than 97 like mine was, it will be harder. Even though my mom was a negative person, I called her everyday and answered her calls when she called me. When your mom dies, you can call me. I can’t be your mom, but I’ll try to cheer you up. . . Or at least I’ll try!

I recently lost my grandma and she would always call me on my birthday. February is a really hard month for me knowing her call won't come. This video had me bawling. Call your loved ones to tell them you love them & miss them.

Same here. My closest friend and I had several disagreements about quarantine. I felt like he wasn't taking care of himself or the people around him. He doesn't want to talk to me for the time being. And I understand that. But I miss him so much.
