Above average strength.. people still be Mirin/watching me lift. This isn't a serious video by any means. Take it easy on me in the comments section (unlike my deadlift compilation).

Hi, I weigh 350 pounds but I just deadlifted 135 with perfect form so I know what I am talking about. I have never competed but if I did I would probably have a 400+ wilks easy. I saw some back rounding on the deadlift so you should deload to the bar and work back up from there or you will injure yourself (I recommend stronglifts 5x5) . Take it from an expert lifter like me. Don't worry, some day you will be as strong as i am ;)
@JustLeein
@JustLeein 3 жыл бұрын
MrTheSlash3r Great advice. Except I must not be strong enough bc my back rounds with the empty bar. I now attach bands to a squat rack to make sure I deadlift 1 lbs until my form looks nice and flat.. but thanks for trying 🤣

I got motivated too I'm practically a power lifter and a body building professionally developed hard worker I would work a lot doing custodian work and go to the gym after work to train harder ,smarter and prepare myself for any harden to get stronger even tougher in every situation I mostly run but lift weights to increase strength and leniency In my performances...I would 5 days a week now I do 4 days a week to prioritize good timing get a fantastic work out but take a Saturday and sunday day of rest when I need it.Others see me go hard then a lot of people they'd be like damn he's really getting it in.....and it's true I work a crazy ass high paying job for 5 hours it feels like fighting crime too.So I'll always need my energy when I gotta get work done.I don't play around I ain't got time....sadly some other folks aren't as motivated or have the same drive as I do I'm not better then one though but I do like to grind to make sure I continue succeeding without failing or looking weak asf.I tell others it ain't easy at all but it's something to be very proud of for sure.

@JustLeein
@JustLeein 3 жыл бұрын
jesus, 275 at 16? And my only tip for someone whos young and is trying to gain strength, recognize that testing strength is different from building. You can build strength from lifting light weights (185 lbs - 225 lbs is prob light if your max is 275 lbs). I definitely recommend making some sort of structured program for your lifts. Increase training weights weekly by x amount for 3-4 weeks, then deload for one week. Train safe and without discomfort, and you'll become an absolute beast in your 20s.

@JustLeein
@JustLeein 3 жыл бұрын
hey bro, 6'1. Rounding at our height is more common. Not saying that being 6 foot means you'll automatically be a rounded back deadlifter.. but more often or not, mobility and leverages favours less towards taller lifters. And backrounding is not a huge issue if you can localize the rounding to your back and do not allow it to get out of hand. I did make a more recent video about back rounding and deadlifts that might help explain the benefits of rounding. Hmu if you got any other questions!

Hey dont stress it brother! That’s a topic I could definitely cover in a future video. For the first year of training I used no specific program for strength.
