Quite frankly, it just doesn't matter what people believe can or can't happen to the price of XRP. Utility will decide the price and no crypto to date has ever experienced genuine, global utility! Just looking at the current dollar values, of the different areas of finance, that XRP is being aimed towards, which have combined value in the hundreds of trillions of dollars, suggests it will need to be in the thousands to have effective utility in those targeted markets.

@@chiefawilkersonbasically let’s say ripple has to deal with 1 quadrillions dollars of transactions a day in order for the coin to benefit the users it’ll have to be set at a high price If it was at 60 cents the coin would burn very quicker and it would still cost the banks millions in fees but if it was let’s say 50k per coin the banks would be saving millions in fees and it would burn very very very slowly meaning it can be used again

Agreed….and guess what? Bitcoin was the forerunner without the scalability. Etherium the “pretender” without utility. In comes XRP and it will one day and not too far in the future be worth 5 figures. It is everything the liquidity starved world needs

Just because something has utility, does not mean it has value. It depends on the type of utility. Buying and selling instantly adds no value. That is why I’m sick of these stupid unrealistic price predictions from XRP people.

Personally, I am not sure what to think. XRP has a *"Max Supply"* of 100 Billion. ETHEREUM on the other hand has no known *"Max Supply"* amount yet it has an *"All Time High"* of over *$4,000.* Still we are being told that XRP can never hit *$100* because the *"Supply is too high!*

because people that look at Crypto history (12 years) reason in the way that it has been so far + on top of that, is always easy to be skeptical and laugh before something major occur + 99.999% of the laughing people now excited about BTC and ETH, wouldnt bet 5$ in BTC in the beginning, surely scam, drug dealers, 100usd ? 1000? 10.000? 68.000=´? half a trillion market cap in a bear market ? ETF funds incoming ? (and this is 0 (ZERO) utility) and Trillions/Quadrillions are behind Institutional Adoption Utility. Crypto today is only Retail Speculative.

Great context in this video. I’ve subscribed now for quite some time. I believe that this particular analysis of potentially exponential increases of value is one of the most pertinent because of the disassociation with shares. Great content as we all strive to grasp the potential of this asset.

First thing, I subscribe, 2nd I always enjoy your presentations, However....This one had bad sound quality! I'm guessing the mic was far away, the room was large, who knows. Best way to describe the sound was cell phone on speaker, cell phone 10 feet away, big room, sound being absorb by walls in large area. Tried twice to get through the presentation, but had to abort. Other than this particular presentation, always a pleasure to hear your ideas!

People are stuck in the markets as we know them. Then they are thinking a currency functions the same way. It doesnt. Market cap doesnt matter with a currency. One thing that is talked about is speed of transactions but what nobody speaks about is volocitity. The faster a transaction settles the more transactions can be done. Volocity i believe will have a hige effect on XRP

A pattern can only be followed (like calculations on Market Cap, Fibonacci levels etc.) if the circumstances stay the same. A Utility Token does only function when a price is set to meet the functionality that the current system needs. No TA's. Know WHAT you hold.

Worse case scenario is institutions are already in the retail space and they are manipulating the price till the bankers come with full adoption on their own private blockchain. Just have to look at the institutions moves. No where are the institutions talking about windfall profits on a public blockchain. They just don't talk about the private blockchain they are developing the past two years.

There is not a valuation system in place like companies in a stock market. What is the reason XRP should be worth 100 billion, or 200 billion? Is it total value being transferred, being held, what is it? Eventually, people will figure it out. XDC doesn't list on major exchange yet which is a bummer. XLM becoming a global currency for average people would be interesting. No middleman, peer to peer electronic cash. And, it doesn't come with the is a security label from SEC.

Everything is new like a car in the showroom for Crypto! The more detail you share, the more people will understand the magnitude of what is going on here. Utility + mainstream adoption will make people cry on the spot when wealth is realised. You are right that market cap is not everything in this place. The big thing to watch is tokens in circulation against how much token supply is left to enter the market. This industry is so complex and growing so rapidly that we need to see what the impact of regulation will be.

The TAM for XRP is in the hundreds of trillions of dollars (Actually over 1 quadrillion US dollars when you look at cross border payments, remittances, settlements, derivatives, tokenization of assets, etc.). People who don't think the price of XRP can reach those high levels due to market cap simply don't understand this. The speculative crypto market is peanuts by comparison. Anyway, market cap is a function of price. Not the other way around. You don't need trillions to be invested in XRP to have a market cap in the trillions. Nowhere near that actually.

The market cap of the company determines a share's value (and usually do not fluctuiate in short time periods), while the market cap of a specific crypto, viz. XRP is determined by the crypto's (XRP's) value (and can change significantly more in a short period of time, than that of a share) ???

People are mistaking an abbreviation of the word capitalisation for a synonym of “upper limit”. The higher the value of XRP, the higher the market cap will go - not the other way round.

Anyone taking market cap into consideration don't understand the substantial use case xrp is gonna have and that after the win its gonna be considered the standard and in order to be used for what it's gonna be used for would make it needing a high set number and would probably remove it from being in any position to fluctuate in price in order for it to work smoothly as the rails for the structure of the new financial system. Many projects that don't offer a use case and was sold like a security will probably go to zero or be removed with only a few handful of projects to continue to make a major impact in this space.

Short-term and mid-term, Xrp will face a serious challege hitting $20, $25, $50, $100... As long as Ripple is still dumping 200M to 1.0Billion Xrps from its escrow monthly, dont expect price to moon at $20 to $100 anytime soon. Been with xrp sincd 2018, and every price rally is followed by a major correction. 😮

It is now possible to buy Ripple snarest, but it is minimum investment is about 5000$ or in our currency 50,000 NOK. And you have to be approved as a investor. So the question is bus Ripple shares (about 80-90 Ripple shares) or invest that money to buy more XRP.. You will get alot of XRP for 5000$ with the currency XRP price..

Market cap is a product in the equation, or “a result”. Market CAP does not exist without the intangible tokens. People who are saying a price can’t be achieved because of market CAP, they are either saying “the market cap is so high, that it isn’t likely the price per token will achieve the price necessary, or they are saying market cap determines the price.” Respectively, the MC for crypto is far different than traditional markets and MC does not determine price!

100% agree. People using stock market analysis techniques to "predict" crypto value just doesn't make sense at all. Research the project, understand the use case, make a decision on the potential value of the utility. I bought some XRP at around $0.35 and only bought what I could afford to lose. Maybe it does reach hundreds of dollars in value, it's absolutely possible depending on how much of the international remittance market it gets a hold of. Or maybe it doesn't. But I don't feel like that can really be predicted at this point- you either believe it's possible or you don't.
