A family friend of mine bullied me for watching anime, I was watching a silent voice with one of our other family friends at a party, and everyone came to join, he ended up coming and got hooked. @@mont9150 idk its rly complicated family thing, but ever since I was 9 he used to bully me about random things and since hes the oldest out of the kids in my family everyone would naturally follow him and bully me too. whether or not the things he says is true it still hurts knowing that every single kid/now teenagers thinks those exact things about me to this day. Watching anime was kinda like an escape from all that for me and when he got into it a couple years ago it really hurt.

@Venu Ganga because naruto went through so much to become hokage and get the village to notice him while boruto is just here like "I HATE MY DAD AND STOP SAYING I ACT LIKE HIM CUZ I DON'T" He is so annoying to me. Boruto has parents, has friends and just an overall a better childhood than naruto, yet he still isn't grateful. I just hate how the creator just made boruto litterarly a copy of Naruto. Mitsuki became a rogue ninja like sasuke, boruto gets rasengan like naruto and the whole team thing and story line is just horribly copied by naruto's story line. That's what I hate most because most of naruto/boruto is repeated (stuff like obito, naruto and jiraiya having the same personality as each other, just altering it to a 'what if this character did/had this' ) and its really annoying. They make naruto look like the worst dad in the world, Boruto also makes it seem like naruto's determination to become hokage was stupid because now he Naruto acts like he regrets everything. Just throwing out the reason I hate boruto so much.😅

I never told anyone I watched anime until high school, where it just casually slipped out of my mouth lol the guy I was talking to, that guy invited his friends over to sit with me just because i was the only one in class who watched anime apart from him, he was shooK. He prolly didn't find people who watched anime anywhere near him. I still have no idea why. Two years later I'm in art college and everyone here loves anime, some are pros and some I consider beginners just like me, some are mildly interested and some ofc think it's weird. But the majority over here, everytime they either talk about anime, to the point it can get frustrating even to me, but at the end of the day I'm glad cause more and more people are appreciating cartoons and the hard work that is put in them. Seems kinda obvious to me that we would like anime cause we're all doing animation, but still it's nice when you know it's not taboo anymore

I remember when I was in elementary school, and would binge all the mangas or anime’s That aren’t as popular like madoca magika, princess tutu, glitter force, and squid girl even though dragon ball z and Tamako Market were my first ones I loved a lot. I’d always make sure my family weren’t around me when watching anime, and when I bought a manga named “love complex” and brung it to school everyone in my class had made fun of me, or said I was reading inappropriate things. Long story short, those same people who bullied me I still see are the same ones who hopped on the anime bandwagon train after Megan the stallion said she loved anime 😀

It’s crazy how real this is, I remember being at friends house like 2009 and we were watching smack down ,it was a bad match so I turned to toonami and it was the episode of naruto laying in the water thinking about his past friendship with sause boi and my friend was like “ no go back to smack down this shit sucks” last year dude was wearing a naruto shirt.
