The defendant says the plaintiff bought him drinks all night and he went home with him. He claims the plaintiff gave him several items from the house, and he’s countersuing for defamation and pain and suffering.

So basically he met these 2 at a club, took them home to get high and get down. He let them steal from him as long as they was getting down. Now that everyone's sobered up it's a lawsuit.

Basically, he overlooked the guy stealing from him because he thought he was going to get some D and when that didn’t happen then he got upset. And I’m pretty sure he bought him drugs. She said it LITERALLY because they’re all strangers yet even when there’s suspicious behaviour he still had them back which in turn was like ignoring the fact there was a thief to begin with & she says just that. Not really rough justice. The judge said she couldn't believe anything either side said, so neither side satisfied the burden of proof to prove their case. That sounds like ordinary judicial procedure to me. In my recollection, she's only used "rough justice," when deciding how much the defendant owed the plaintiff in the absence of hard evidence.

I think that the things that the defendant is saying about not ever doing anything sexual with the plaintiff is because of his dad being there. I think, by the looks of him, that the dad would probably disown his son for being gay and the defendant may even be living with his dad currently.

I totally agree with Rick and thought the same thing, actually! I think the defendant can pass as straight when he needs to - and he probably always needed to when with his parents. I'm also sure drugs are in his life and his dad looks like he probably uses too. Maybe he convinces his dad he's only at gay bars to rob people and his dad hates gays so he allows that? I don't know, but I do know how homophobic families act and what they look like and these two fit the bill.

I agree with throwing both their cases out. But the defendants story was totally unbelievable. If his story was true he would not have returned on nights 2, 3, 4, 5, & 6. No way. And the 12 debit card ATTEMPTS bolsters the witnesses story. The plaintiff was so dumb and desperate for attention he got the expected result. Just incredibly dumb I guess.

The plaintiff & the defendent in this case are both lying to the judge, & she knew it. Who would keep having someone come to their home , nite after nite , and knowing that they are stealing from you? I totally believe the defendant is a thief, liar, and hustler, but the plaintiff is a grown man who let it all happen. Hell, he didn’t just let it happen, he helped the thief clean out his house. The plaintiff needs to realize buying young men will never end well.

Why do people think anyone cares about their anxiety? The whole planet has been through a pandemic and has lost lives and income. We are all anxious and stressed but most of us just deal and not visit our issues on the rest of the planet. Nobody but your mommy cares about your anxiety.

Both the Plaintiff and Defendant reminds me so much of a particular friend of mine who Came Out a bit later in life, but before that was never stable to begin with. Gay, Broke, Uninteresting, Emotionally Challenged, & Alone. This whole case scream Booty Call vs Scam Artist, and Judge wasn't having any of it for these three easy fools.

I'm embarrassed for this guy - coming to court and actually expecting a sympathetic judge and all of his stuff back. It's sad and pathetic he's this lonely and desperate he'll humiliate himself like this on national TV, rather than chalking it up to a really bad lesson learned.
