The plaintiff says she hired the defendant to fix her gutters and he subcontracted the job out. The new person told her the gutters were fine and only needed a minor repair. She claims the defendant cashed her check and did no work, so she’s suing for her money back. The defendant says his worker was scared by a squirrel nest on the roof, which the plaintiff did not remove, so he claims he owes nothing.

1000 percent truth . I think the judge was enamored with the defendant and was leaning more so on his side , until she was backed into a corner ; and didn’t have a choice . I hate how JM thought that the plaintiff expected that they were to do a job they weren't hired for by fixing the hole when all the plaintiff was saying was the guy told her she didn't need a new gutter but should instead use the money she was going to use on the gutter on the actual issue which was the hole no one was saying that it had to be the defendants who fixed the whole it was just that the plaintiff worded it wrong but the judge should be smart enough to understand what she was saying instead of inferring something completely different than the point she was making in the first place..... I find her getting way too full of herself lately and it's incredibly tacky in my opinion personally and I really do like this show and her but there's too many instances where she picked out specifically what she wanted to from the testimony and ignored things that were crucial and actually admitted by the accused party just so she could feel richeous about her verdict. One case I remember was a pretty complex case and I definitely don't have all the facts off the top of my head but I was just shocked by the outcome because the plaintiffs son told the truth about what happened and she just ignored it or instead was too wrapped up in her own idea of what happened to pay close attention to what he said which proved the plaintiff was lying and the defendant told the truth and if I'm not mistaken the defendant told Judge Milian that the child just confirmed that he did indeed break his iPad on the way out of the mall after it just got fixed ..... which meant that the defendant was out of money for the first screen he put on the tablet and then he had to put on another one and the work to do so the defendant wasn't even asking for all that he was out .....he was wrong though because he gave them a new tablet instead of the original one they brought in but in court he gave them the old one back so I don't know why he did that but the new one was better than the other one but the child wanted his since his progress in his apps that stored in that device anyway it was upsetting to watch her ignore evidence just because she had already determined the outcome of the case before she ever even heard the witnesses testimony

Judge Milian needs to understand that while she doesn't like being called Miss because she feels that it undermines her authority, she should not call litigants "honey,' "sweetie," "darling," "my dear," etc. because it is rude, even in jest. Correction is fine, rudeness is not. Let's never forget the power we have in titles and our responsibility to not abuse them. As a person that has watched literally HUNDREDS of episodes, I have seen quite often JM lose her cool or expect defendants and plaintiffs to have her Lawyer/Judge level of experience. When JM called his witness the floor was open for her to call the plaintiff witness for testimony! Now let's talk about when the plaintiff addressed JM, as Miss, and JM says it's judge! The plaintiff meant JM no disrespect! JM came off very unfair and rude. JM just because your title is a judge that don't give the authority to disrespect we the people who trust you with there case. I think the plaintiff held herself as a classy lady! JM came off rude, and the defendant a shady business man! So the plaintiff wins all around!!

I’ve seen John speak over her before, it’s a conversation sometimes that happens back and forth it’s not that big of a deal. I do agree JM gets tiresome though. Personally don’t find Judy as bad since she is more consistent how she handles stuff. While Milian will get up in her feelings and come out looking like a hypocrite.
